As reported earlier today, chart-topping British pop star Leona Lewis will officially take on the iconic role of 'Grizabella,' the Glamour Cat, in the first-ever Broadway revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's record-breaking musical, Cats. The production begins previews performances on Thursday, July 14, 2016, with an official opening set for Sunday, July 31, 2016, at the Neil Simon Theatre. In celebration of the big announcement, BroadwayWorld brings you a look at some of Lewis' best performances!

Initial casting is announced today (26 May 2016) for Qdos Entertainment's London Palladium production of Cinderella.  The 32 strong cast will be led byPaul O'Grady as The Wicked Stepmother, Julian Clary as Dandini, Lee Mead as Prince Charming, Paul Zerdin as Buttons, Nigel Havers as Lord Chamberlain and Count Arthur Strong as Baron Hardup.  The roles of Cinderella, the Fairy Godmother and the Ugly Sisters will be announced soon. 

A tribute to Judy Garland will be performed in a cabaret concert on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 2 PM in the Arthur Newman Theatre in Palm Desert. "Judy! Judy! Judy!" will star local singer Loretta Siani with piano accompaniment by Joel Baker. Tickets are $11 cash only, and it is presented by Les Michael's Sundays In Summer Cabaret Series.

Pasadena Symphony and POPS Board Chair Kay Kochenderfer Toomey and Chief Executive Officer Lora Unger are proud to announce a contract extension for Michael Feinstein through the 2019 season. His original contract as Principal Pops Conductor commenced in June 2013 for a one-year term and was immediately extended in July 2013 to run through the 2016 season after his critically acclaimed conducting debut with the Pasadena POPS.

Michael Ingersoll's ARTISTS LOUNGE LIVE concert series announces a new season line up for Chicagoland's Metropolis Performing Arts Centre in Arlington Heights.

Ray Rackham's July Garland musical THROUGH THE MILL comes to Southwark Playhouse this summer. It features musical supervision and arrangement by Simon Holt, musical direction by Jordan Li Smith, choreography by Chris Whittaker, set design by Johnson Williams and sound design by Ed Shaw. The show runs runs July 6-30, with press night on July 8.

Radio show host Alexander Rodriguez on iHeartRadio and Universal Broadcasting Network's 'On The Rocks' will hit the stage on tonight debuting his new cabaret show, 'I'll Have Another!' - a roller coaster of stories, audience participation, and dramedy, belted out by your host featuring music from stage, screen and pop.

Oliver Reid, Lady Rizo, Vivian Reed, and Nadia Quinn & Ahna O'Reilly with the Playbillies will join the previously announced headliners Alice Ripley, Nathan Lee Graham, Gay Marshall, Carol Lipnik, Rob Maitner and Gabrielle Stravelli for the sixth annual "Night Of A Thousand Judys" - the Pride concert to benefit The Ali Forney Center presented by The Meeting* hosted by Justin Sayre. The event will take place at Merkin Concert Hall at the Kaufman Center (129 West 67th Street in Manhattan) on Monday, June 6.

Richmond Triangle Players' 23rd Season will come to a close with its production of the musical smash hit THE BOY FROM OZ, which will play from June 15 - July 16, 2016 at RTP's theater in Scott's Addition.  The play opens Thursday, June 16 at 8 pm, following a low-priced preview on Wednesday, June 15 at 8 pm.   The production is sponsored by Candace L. Osdene and David Peake.

Seth Sikes, of whom NY Arts Review said, "may well be one of the saviors of the Great American Songbook" will return to FEINSTEIN'S/54 BELOW on Wednesday, June 8th at 7:00PM in his critically acclaimed show Seth Sikes Sings Liza Minnelli, an evening of Minnelli's most popular songs.
