As reported earlier today, chart-topping British pop star Leona Lewis will officially take on the iconic role of 'Grizabella,' the Glamour Cat, in the first-ever Broadway revival of Andrew Lloyd Webber's record-breaking musical, Cats. The production begins previews performances on Thursday, July 14, 2016, with an official opening set for Sunday, July 31, 2016, at the Neil Simon Theatre. Initial casting is announced today (26 May 2016) for Qdos Entertainment's London Palladium production of Cinderella. The 32 strong cast will be led byPaul O'Grady as The Wicked Stepmother, Julian Clary as Dandini, Lee Mead as Prince Charming, Paul Zerdin as Buttons, Nigel Havers as Lord Chamberlain and Count Arthur Strong as Baron Hardup. The roles of Cinderella, the Fairy Godmother and the Ugly Sisters will be announced soon.
Judy Garland Tribute Set for Arthur Newman Theatre in Palm Desert, 6/12

A tribute to Judy Garland will be performed in a cabaret concert on Sunday, June 12, 2016 at 2 PM in the Arthur Newman Theatre in Palm Desert. "Judy! Judy! Judy!" will star local singer Loretta Siani with piano accompaniment by Joel Baker. Tickets are $11 cash only, and it is presented by Les Michael's Sundays In Summer Cabaret Series.
Michael Feinstein Renews Contract with Pasadena POPS Through 2019

Pasadena Symphony and POPS Board Chair Kay Kochenderfer Toomey and Chief Executive Officer Lora Unger are proud to announce a contract extension for Michael Feinstein through the 2019 season. His original contract as Principal Pops Conductor commenced in June 2013 for a one-year term and was immediately extended in July 2013 to run through the 2016 season after his critically acclaimed conducting debut with the Pasadena POPS.

It features musical supervision and arrangement by Simon Holt, musical direction by Jordan Li Smith, choreography by Chris Whittaker, set design by Johnson Williams and sound design by Ed Shaw.
