Pride Films and Plays celebrates the Holiday Season with two events that bookend this festive frenzy. Winter Memories is a cabaret slated for Monday December 1 at Twisted Vine. And It's a Fabulous Life is a hilarious spoof scheduled for Tuesday, December 30 at Mary's Attic.
Steppenwolf Theatre Company is pleased to announce the three Chicago companies selected for the sixth annual Garage Rep: Cold Basement Dramatics, Pride Films and Plays and Red Tape Theatre. These innovative storefront companies will present three productions in rotating repertory for a ten-week run February - April, 2015 in the Garage Theatre (1624 N Halsted St).
Pride Films and Plays will follow up its sold-out Jeff Recommended run of Terrence McNally's Some Men with the Chicago premiere of The Submission by Jeff Talbott, winner of the 2011 Laurent's/Hatcher Award and the Outer Circle's John Gassner Award for Best New Play in 2012. The dynamic new work runs October 12 through November 25 at the Apollo Studio Theatre, 2540 N. Lincoln.

Clybourne Park By Bruce Norris Directed by Steve Scott is extending through Sunday, November 24. This production is Jeff Recommended. The first Chicago storefront production of the Pulitzer Prize-winning drama featuring Redtwist leading man and Jeff-Award-winner, Brian Parry, and company members, Jan Ellen Graves and Michael Sherwin.
