El proximo 9 de mayo y solo hasta el 9 de junio, FAMA presentara una version bilingue en el Gala Hispanic Theatre de Washington DC, presentandose por primera vez de esta manera en Estados Unidos.

After a successful adventure in Germany as associate director/choreographer for Cirque Du Soleil's Paramour, Luis Salgado returns to GALA Hispanic Theatre to helm the new latinx adaptation of the iconic FAME, The Musical. Conceived and developed by David De Silva, the shows Book writer is a cuban artista named Jose Fernandez.

Northport's gorgeous John W. Engeman Theatre does it again with a stellar showing of theatre staple Man Of La Mancha, the second show of their dazzling 12th Season. This incarnation of the Tony winner, running through October 28th, is excellently directed by Peter Flynn and boasts an extraordinary cast. Long Island is certainly lucky to have this production lead by Broadway vets Janet Dacal, Richard Todd Adams, and Carlos Lopez.

???????Roberto Araujo is set to join GALA Hispanic Theatre's production of In The Heights as Piragua Guy from tonight, May 25 to May 28.

GALA Hispanic Theatre has announced that  Roberto Araujo (In the Heights, West Side Story, Evita, Les Miserables) will join the cast of the US Premiere of In the Heights, for the extension starting May 25 to May 28. 

The U.S. premiere in Spanish of the ground-breaking musical In The Heights. Conceived by Lin-Manuel Miranda, with book by Quiara Alegria Hudes, music and lyrics by Mr. Miranda will conclude the 41rd main stage season of Teatro Gala. In The Heights is being directed and choreographed by original Broadway's Latin Assistant Choreographer Luis Salgado who also directed a Spanish production of Speed-the-Plow back in August 2015 with a multicultural cast.
