Town Hall was the setting in 1968 of the legendary dual concert of America's leading cabaret performers, the great international club and recording artist Mabel Mercer and the reigning prince of cabaret Bobby Short. In a tribute to these great artists, The Mabel Mercer Foundation will present a lineup of today's leading practitioners of the intimate and enduring art of cabaret. KT Sullivan, Artistic Director of the Foundation, will host the evening.
Nicolas King, dubbed "the precociously polished crooner" by the New York Times, recently wowed audiences for six months at The Iridium NYC, as he jammed with Terese Genecco and her Little Big Band, as a featured guest vocalist, while simultaneously presenting critically-acclaimed solo performances at Don't Tell Mama and Metropolitan Room. The star-studded audiences were filled with the likes of Liza Minnelli, Gina Lollobrigida, Marylin Maye and Andrea McArdle, to name-drop a few.

The music of Mickey Leonard, composer and arranger cherished by the cabaret and jazz communities was presented by Karen Oberlin at the Metropolitan Room on January 22, 2011. The evening was hosted by David Hadju and Mr. Leonard's music was sung & played by a bevy of the music worlds finest. The event will also take place on February 10, at 9:30 hosted by Rex Reed.
