Dr. Seuss’ beloved classic children’s book “How the Grinch Stole Christmas!” has become a Christmas staple for generations and NBC is bringing the story to life this holiday season with a fun-filled two-hour production of “Dr. Seuss’ The Grinch Musical!” set to air Dec. 9 at 8 p.m. ET/PT from the Troubadour Theatre in London.

The Old Globe today announced the cast and creative team of its 23rd annual production of Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas!, which this year will be presented by KPBS Radio in San Diego as a free audio-only production. Due to the ongoing pandemic, The Old Globe is unable to produce the San Diego favorite on its stage this year.

Broadway Records recently celebrated the release of the original Off-Broadway cast recording of Einstein's Dreams. Written by Joanne Sydney Lessner (book and lyrics) and Joshua Rosenblum (music and lyrics), the musical ran Off-Broadway last winter and received four Drama Desk nominations, including Outstanding Music and Lyrics.

The 65th Annual Drama Desk Awards has partnered with 'Stars in the House' to live stream this year's Nominations. Seth Rudetsky and James Wesley, the hosts of the virtual daily series benefiting the Actors Fund, will announce the nominees.

The 2018 world premiere performance by the Oratorio Society of New York of the Paul Moravec/Mark Campbell work Sanctuary Road is now a Naxos Records release (January 10, 2020). Based on the writings of William Still, a 'conductor' on the Underground Railroad who chronicled 'the death struggles of slaves in their efforts of freedom,' the oratorio was led at its premiere by OSNY Music Director Kent Tritle, and featured soloists Laquita Mitchell, Raehann Bryce-Davis, Joshua Blue, Malcolm J. Merriweather, and Dashon Burton.

The cast and creative team of EINSTEIN'S DREAMS celebrated the opening with friends and family at Sarabeth's on Central Park South on Wednesday, November 20 hosted by EINSTEIN'S DREAMS producer Prospect Theater Company.

The NYC premiere of Einstein's Dreams is now on stage at 59E59 Theaters through December 14. This intriguing, exciting new musical is a must-see.

The Old Globe today announced the complete cast and creative team for the Globe's 22nd annual production of Dr. Seuss's How the Grinch Stole Christmas! The holiday musical will run November 10 a?' December 29 on the Donald and Darlene Shiley Stage in the Old Globe Theatre, part of the Globe's Conrad Prebys Theatre Center.

NYU Steinhardt's Vocal Performance program will present the classic musical Gypsy, September 19a?"23. The renowned show business tale features a book by Arthur Laurents, music by Jule Styne, and lyrics by Stephen Sondheim. Acting faculty member Jessica Bashline will direct NYU's production. 

59E59 Theaters will present the NYC premiere of EINSTEIN'S DREAMS book and lyrics by Joanne Sydney Lessner, music and lyrics by Joshua Rosenblum, directed by Cara Reichel, and based on the novel by Alan Lightman. Milton Granger is the music director; the movement director/associate director is Dax Valdes.

59E59 Theaters have announced the line-up of shows for the 2019 Fall Season. All performances take place at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues).

Ethan Riordan will be performing his original song cycle, Flicker, on August 20th at 7 pm at The Green Room 42 in Yotel Times Square. The song cycle explores themes of connection and disconnection in its various forms--whether it be moving on or standing still. Performing with Ethan will be Kerstin Anderson (My Fair Lady, The Sound of Music), Micaela Diamond (The Cher Show) and Sophia Gennusa (Matilda the Musical, Dr. Zhivago). This show is being produced by John Mara, Jr.

59E59 Theaters announces the lineup of shows for the 2019 Summer Season at 59E59 Theaters (59 East 59th Street, between Park and Madison Avenues). Ticket prices range from $15 - $70 ($12 - $49 for 59E59 Members).

The Pit Stop Players, the genre-defying instrumental chamber group composed of veteran Broadway pit musicians, will shed light on three new works at the DiMenna Center for Classical Music's Cary Hall, 450 West 37th Street, on Monday, May 13, 2019 at 7:30 p.m.
