With Sinbad the Sailor opening on Monday and Rani Moorthy's Whose Sari Now? currently playing in Gerry's studio space, Artistic Director of Theatre Royal Stratford East, Kerry Michael today announces the theatre's forthcoming Spring/Summer 2017 season.

This Christmas, The Watermill Theatre presents Rufus Norris' Sleeping Beauty, adapted for a cast of seven actor-musicians, the first time the production has been performed in this way. 

As an actor, Nigel Harman's numerous credits include EastEnders, Guys and Dolls, Downton Abbey and Shrek The Musical, the latter of which he also directed. He's now helming the revival of a Steven Berkoff double bill: Lunch, about an abortive one-night stand, and The Bow of Ulysses, revisiting the couple after 20 years of marriage. The plays star Shaun Dooley and Emily Bruni, and begin at Trafalgar Studios on 6 October.

Ahead of celebrating Shakespeare400, Regent's Park Open Air Theatre announce their full casting for Henry V.

Following a sell-out run at the Royal Court Theatre, NATIONAL THEATRE LIVE will broadcast the acclaimed West End transfer of Hangmen by Olivier and Academy Award winner Martin McDonagh (The Pillowman, The Cripple of Inishmaan, In Bruges), with a cast including David Morrissey, Andy Nyman and Johnny Flynn, live from London's Wyndham's Theatre to cinemas internationally on Thursday, March 3, 2016 (dates vary internationally). Hangmen was recently named Best New Play and earned the Best Designs Award at the U.K's Critics' Circle Theatre Awards. Following a sell out run at the Royal Court Theatre, Matthew Dunster's award-winning production of Martin McDonagh's HANGMEN will transfer to the West End for a strictly limited season. Now in previews, the production will have a press night on 7 December at Wyndham's Theatre. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the cast in action below!

HANGMEN, which recently finished its run at the Royal Court Theatre's Jerwood Theatre Downstairs, transfers to the West End's Wyndham's Theatre tonight 1 December 2015. David Morrissey, in the lead role of 'Harry', will travel with the production.

According to the Daily Mail, Andy Nyman (ASSASSINS, ABIGAIL'S PARTY, GHOST STORIES) and Craig Parkinson (in several shows at Open Air Theatre, MARTIN GUERRE) will take over the roles of 'Syd' and 'Inspector Fry' when Martin McDonagh's HANGMEN transfers to the West End this winter.
