Young People's Theatre Workshop (YPTW) will host Come Home to YPTW, a concert featuring alumni star performers on Wednesday, Feb. 3, at 7:30 p.m.  at The Players Club of Swarthmore, 614 Fairview Ave., Swarthmore. Tickets are $25 in advance; $30 at the door.  Download a ticket order form at www.yptw.org   The purpose of the concert is to raise funds for YPTW's spring production of Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, a technically expensive production that requires a "flying" car.  All funds raised from the concert will be used to support the production.

Broadway's 40 theatres aren't the only places to catch performances from your favorite stars! Well after Broadway orchestras begin their overtures, ensemble members take their dance breaks, and performers belt out their eleven o'clock numbers, the party continues at various cabaret venues throughout New York City. In an unprecedented outpouring of support by performers, a second show had to be added to accommodate the number of stars that wanted to sing in honor of Barbara Siegel's contributions to the theater as first an Outer Critics Circle Nominator and then a Drama Desk Nominator (the latter, 18 years, 12 of those as chairperson of the Drama Desk Nominating Committee).
