Could DREAMGIRLS be steppin' to the bad side on Broadway later this season? An Equity Principal Audition for the production will be held next week at Pearl Studios. An audition listing notes the production will be directed by Casey Nicholaw, produced by Sonia Friedman Production and land on Broadway in 2019/20.

On Friday evening, January 18, 2019, Kinky Boots welcomed to the stage for the first time, Tiki Barber, a former American Football running back who played for the New York Giants of the National Football League (NFL) for ten seasons. Barber plays the role of "Don" in the Tony Award®-winning musical at the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street) for a limited run through Sunday, March 3, 2019.

Producer Paula Wagner announced today that PRETTY WOMAN: THE MUSICAL will welcome Broadway superstar, and Tony Award nominee Adam Pascal to Hollywood Boulevard for one week only. Adam Pascal will play Edward Lewis from Tuesday, January 15, through Sunday, January 20, 2019, during Andy Karl's time off.

It was announced today that the Original Broadway Cast Recording Of The Prom is set for digital release December 14th and physically January 11th.  Available for preorder now, the album is produced by Scott M. Disney Theatrical Productions and Broadway at the Eccles announced today that tickets for the long-awaited engagement of Disney's Aladdin will go on sale to the public on Friday, December 14 at 10:00AM. The hit Broadway musical will begin performances in Salt Lake City at the George S. and Dolores Dore Eccles Theater on Thursday, April 25 for a limited engagement of 3 weeks through Sunday, May 12. The opening night is Friday, April 26 at 8:00PM.

With its heart on its ruffled sleeve and sequins in its soul, the Sarasota premiere of the completely original new musical, Something Rotten!, opens at the Van Wezel Performing Arts Hall on Monday, January 7 at 7:30 p.m. and continues with a second performance on Tuesday, January 8 at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are $42-$87 with limited seats remaining.
