ON KENTUCKY AVENUE to Return to Stage 72 for One Night Only This Month

Colin Quinn's THE NEW YORK STORY Will Return to Cherry Lane Theatre This Fall

Due to great reviews and a sold out run, Colin Quinn The New York Story the new comedy written by and starring Colin Quinn, based on his book The Coloring Book (Grand Central Publishing) and directed by Jerry Seinfeld will return The Cherry Lane Theatre, (38 Commerce Street) beginning October 20th. Colin Quinn The New York Story, is presented by Brian Stern, Mike Lavoie and Mike Berkowitz.

Banks Brothers Productions to Present THEY DON'T WANT TO HEAR HATTI SING!

Banks Brothers Productions will be presenting the satirical musical 'They Don't Want to Hear Hattie Sing!' a timely production using Hattie McDaniel, the first African American to win an Academy Award, as the main character. Set dually in 1939 and 2009, the musical will explore old and new stereotypes of Blacks in the media by focusing on some of the most polarizing African American Actors in history such as Sleep N Eat, Steppin' Fetchit, Butterfly McQueen and Buckwheat Thomas.

Phoenix Theatre of Indianapolis announces the World Premiere production of Typhoid Mary opening tonight, April 30, 2015 on the Frank and Katrina Basile Stage. This production runs through May 24, 2015, with Bill Simmons serving as director. Tom Horan wrote Typhoid Mary in 2013 during his first season as the Phoenix Theatre's Playwright-in-Residence.
