Individual tickets and subscriptions are now on sale for the 36th season of the Boston Philharmonic Orchestra and the third season of the Boston Philharmonic Youth Orchestra. The seven-concert series includes timeless masterpieces and extraordinary soloists led by Maestro Benjamin Zander.

America's Oldest Continuing Summer Chamber Music Festival, Music Mountain, continues its 85th anniversary season with a talented trio performing Baroque Italian Opera Arias and Duets on Saturday, August 23 (6:30PM) followed by the Blair String Quartet performing with guest artist Melvin Chen, piano on Sunday, August 24 (3PM). Gordon Hall will be filled with the classical sounds of opera this weekend - a first for Music Mountain's annual festival. Jazz, country and chamber concerts continue thru September 14.

The Longwood Symphony Orchestra Board of Directors is pleased to announce that Nick Adams has been named Executive Director, effective July 1, 2014. The Longwood Symphony Orchestra Executive Director Search Committee interviewed several highly qualified candidates, and they unanimously and enthusiastically recommended Nick Adams to the board of trustees.

The Celebrity Series of Boston announced its 2014-2015 season today, marking 76 years of bringing the world's greatest performing artists to Boston. The season opens on Sunday, October 5, 2014 with Italian pianist Maurizio Pollini in recital. In total, the 2014-2015 season will include 46 music, dance and entertainment engagements.
