Das Ende der Laufzeit von HINTERM HORIZONT war schon langer bekannt, der eigentliche Schock kam am heutigen Morgen bei einer Versammlung im Theater am Potsdamer Platz, bei der eine Bekanntgabe eines Nachfolgers fur das Lindenberg Musical in dem renommierten Haus erwartet wurde. Doch es kam anders, stattdessen das Aus. Stage Entertainment schließt seine Turen am Potsdamer Platz dauerhaft.

Bereits wahrend der Auffuhrung belohnte das Publikum, zu dem zahlreiche prominente Personlichkeiten aus Politik, Schauspiel, Kultur und Sport gehorten, die Darsteller und das Orchester mit euphorischen Standing-Ovations. Susan Sideropoulus schwarmt: „Das beste Musical, das ich je gesehen habe!' Collien Ulmen-Fernandes bringt es auf den Punkt: „Es war lustig, es war bunt!' Auch Sky du Monts Begeisterung kennt keine Grenzen: „Diese Musik, diese Buhne, sensationell! Dschinni ist zum Niederknien. Und den Teppich muss ich haben!' Jorge Gonzalez sagt: „Tolle Show, ich habe so viel gelacht! Ich liebe die Anspielungen auf die moderne Zeit.' Und Dr. Dieter Wedel erganzt euphorisch: „Ich bin begeistert! Choreografie und Buhnenbild sind enorm!'

As announced on 19 June 2015, funds advised by CVC Capital Partners ('CVC') signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in international musical and theatre group, Stage Entertainment.  It was also announced on 28 August 2015 that the former Endemol CEO, Just Spee, has been appointed as CEO of Stage Entertainment, effective from 1st September.

Stage Entertainment has appointed former Endemol head Just Spee as the company's new CEO. Ronald van Wechem will also join Stage Entertainment, taking a position on the Board of Directors as Chief Operations Officer. With their arrival on 1 September, there will be a reorganisation of portfolios within the Board of Directors, with Peter O'Keeffe taking on responsibilities as Chief Content Officer. The fourth member of the Board of Directors is Rob Groot, who has been Chief Financial Officer since 2014.

CVC Capital Partners ('CVC') announced today that funds advised by CVC have signed an agreement to acquire a majority stake in international musical and theatre group, Stage Entertainment. Under the terms of the transaction, CVC will acquire a 60% stake from the company's founder, Joop van den Ende, who will remain a 40% shareholder in the business and as co-chairman.

Capital Partners will acquire over 60% of the shares in Stage Entertainment, the international theatre production company founded by Joop van den Ende.

Early this morning Janine van den Ende was appointed Officer of the Order of Orange Nassau. The award was presented by the local mayor, Mark Roell, in the name of the king, at her home in Baarn in the presence of husband Joop van den Ende, their children Iris and Vincent, Janine's mother, and her brother Frank.

ROCKY hit Broadway last night, officially opening with stars Andy Karl and Margo Seibert at Broadway's historic Winter Garden Theatre. The show features an original score by Stephen Flahertyand Lynn Ahrens and a book by Thomas Meehan and Sylvester Stallone, who was nominated for an Academy Award for Best Original Screenplay for the 1976 Oscar-winning Best Picture, Rocky.The production is directed by Alex Timbers, with choreography by Steven Hoggett, and Kelly Devine. Paukenschlag im Hamburger Hafen: Stage Entertainment eroffnet seinen Theaterneubau an der Elbe mit einer Weltpremiere. „Das Wunder von Bern" ist ein von Stage selbst entwickeltes Musical, das auf dem gleichnamigen Film von Sonke Wortmann basiert. Die Urauffuhrung findet im November 2014 statt.
