La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts and McCoy Rigby Entertainment present the fourth production and the 'rocking-est' show of La Mirada Theatre's 2009-2010 season, BUDDY - The Buddy Holly Story, written by Alan Janes & Rob Bettinson with choreography by Dana Solimando, musical direction by Darryl Archibald and directed by Glenn Casale. BUDDY - The Buddy Holly Story will began performances on Friday, April 16 and officially opened on Saturday, April 17. The production will run through Sunday, May 2 at La Mirada Theatre for the Performing Arts, 14900 La Mirada Boulevard in La Mirada.

Disney and Cameron Mackintosh's MARY POPPINS makes its much-anticipated premiere Sunday, April 11, 2010 at the Circus Theatre in Scheveningen, Holland, outside of Amsterdam. This marks the fifth major production of the title since it opened in London in 2004. Only three months after the Dutch opening, a sixth production opens in Melbourne, Australia in July 2010.

Using a unique fusion of video, television and live performance, acclaimed director Ivo van Hove 'brings new meaning to the term ?in your face' (Variety). Presented in Dutch with English supertitles, performances of Rouw Siert Electra (Mourning Becomes Electra) are scheduled February 25 - 28 in the Goodman's Owen Bruner Theatre. Henk Kivits, who announced his move from President of the Executive Board of Holland Casino to the international theater company founded by Joop van den Ende today, will take the leadership of Stage Entertainment. Starting September 1st, Kivits will be Stage Entertainment's Chief Executive Officer.
