As predicted, the soundtrack to Disney's Oscar-winning animated film FROZEN remained at the No. 1 spot on the Billboard 200 for an eighth week.

In a recent interview with the San Diego Union-Tribune, Tony winner Duncan Sheik revealed that the time is drawing near for the highly-anticipated film version of his 2006 musical- Spring Awakening. He told the UT: 'We're trying to get the 'Spring Awakening' movie made this year. It's in process, and we have a fancy director (McG) and a fancy producer (Playtone, Tom Hanks' company) involved. So fingers crossed we'll be diving into it.'

This weekend, Disney's 'Frozen' officially became the highest grossing animated film of all time, and with $1.072 billion worldwide, it has also entered the list of the top 10 biggest films of all time. The Walt Disney Studios' seventh billion-dollar release, 'Frozen' has earned an estimated $398.4 million at the domestic box office and $674 million internationally.

The Michael Morones Foundation today announced a one-night only benefit concert entitled Broadway Battles Bullying to take place on Monday, April 14 at 7:00 p.m. at New York University's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. The benefit and silent auction will raise money for the newly created Michael Morones Foundation, which works to educate communities about youth suicide prevention and the effects of bullying. The benefit concert is presented by an honorary host committee of Broadway, screen, and music veterans including Sir Ian McKellen, Sir Patrick Stewart, Mary-Louise Parker, Paula Cole, Megan Hilty, Jonathan Groff, and Julia Murney, who have all generously donated their support to the Michael Morones Foundation.

On Saturday March 22nd, Broadway, TV and Film Star- Jonathan Groff taught a one day musical theatre master class at the Broadway Workshop in New York City. Students in the master class had the opportunity to work with Groff and Broadway Workshop director - Marc Tumminelli on song interpretation, audition technique and received individual feedback and coaching.
