Jill Paice, Dan Fogler, Jennifer Laura Thompson & More Set for BROADWAY BATTLES BULLYING Benefit Concert, 4/14

The Michael Morones Foundation today announced a one-night only benefit concert entitled Broadway Battles Bullying to take place on Monday, April 14 at 7:00 p.m. at New York University's Skirball Center for the Performing Arts. The benefit and silent auction will raise money for the newly created Michael Morones Foundation, which works to educate communities about youth suicide prevention and the effects of bullying. The benefit concert is presented by an honorary host committee of Broadway, screen, and music veterans including Sir Ian McKellen, Sir Patrick Stewart, Mary-Louise Parker, Paula Cole, Megan Hilty, Jonathan Groff, and Julia Murney, who have all generously donated their support to the Michael Morones Foundation.

On Saturday March 22nd, Broadway, TV and Film Star- Jonathan Groff taught a one day musical theatre master class at the Broadway Workshop in New York City. Students in the master class had the opportunity to work with Groff and Broadway Workshop director - Marc Tumminelli on song interpretation, audition technique and received individual feedback and coaching. Jonathan Groff and Lucy Liu Set to Announce 2014 Tony Nominees on 4/29

The Tony Awards have just announced that the 2014 Nominations will be announced on Tuesday, April 29 (8:30am) from the Paramount Hotel. This year's announcement will be co-hosted by multiple SAG and Emmy nominated actress and star of ELEMENTARY on CBS, Lucy Liu, and Tony-nominated star of HBO's LOOKING & Disney's FROZEN, Jonathan Groff. Also in attendance will be: William Ivey Long, Chairman of the American Theatre Wing; Heather Hitchens, Executive Director of the American Theatre Wing; Nick Scandalios, Chairman of The Broadway League; Charlotte St. Martin, Executive Director of the Broadway League.

INTAR presents Adoration of the Old Woman, by Jose Rivera and directed by Patricia McGregor, starring Raul Castillo, Danielle Davenport, Jose Joaquin Perez, Socorro Santiago and Carmen Zilles. Raul Castillo also stars in HBO's television series Looking, which is about a group of gay friends living in San Francisco. BROADWAY BACKWARDS at Al Hirschfeld Theatre to Offer Day-Of Rush Tickets, 3/24

A limited number of $40 rush tickets for the much-anticipated ninth annual edition of Broadway Backwards will be released for sale at 6:30 PM Monday, March 24, 2014. The rush tickets will be sold outside the Al Hirschfeld Theatre (302 West 45th Street). They will not be available at the box office. Tickets will be sold on a first-come, first-served basis, cash only and are limited to two tickets per person. The show begins at 8 PM.
