President Barack Obama will make his fifth appearance as a guest on 'The Daily Show with Jon Stewart' on Wednesday, October 27 at 11:00 p.m. (ET/PT), his first since taking office as President of the United States of America.

The Wall Street Journal called it 'the funniest new musical since Avenue Q.' New Line Theatre, 'The Bad Boy of Musical Theatre,' has been granted the first production rights in the country for the American regional premiere of the Broadway rockabilly musical CRY-BABY, based on John Waters' cult classic film starring Johnny Depp. The original creative team is revising the show for New Line, to make it a smaller, more intimate musical, and it will run here next season, for four weeks in spring 2012.

COMEDY CENTRAL announced today that its biennial/bi-coastal event, 'Night Of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Concert For Autism Education,' has added comedians Will Forte, Jim Gaffigan and Tracy Morgan, who will join the New York star-studded line-up and Rob Corddry, Bryan Cranston, Larry David, Jesse Tyler Ferguson, Jeff Garlin, Jimmy Kimmel, Jim Parsons, Sofia Vergara and Rainn Wilson will be manning the phone banks during the LA live event, with more celebrities to be announced.

COMEDY CENTRAL has once again joined forces with Jon Stewart's Busboy Productions for its third bi-annual special event, 'Night Of Too Many Stars: An Overbooked Concert For Autism Education.' Taping on Saturday, October 2 from the Beacon Theatre in New York City, the benefit for Autism education programs will feature Stewart hosting an evening filled with live performances, sketches and short films from a roster of comedy all-stars. Tickets for the 'Night Of Too Many Stars' go on sale on Monday, August 2, through www.ticketmaster.com or www.beacontheatre.com. Scott Fitzgerald's The Great Gatsby. Created by Elevator Repair Service and directed by John Collins, GATZ will continue through Sunday, November 28, with an official press opening on Wednesday, October 6. Tickets are on-sale now.

The popular comedy variety show The Same Sex-Tacular returns to The Upright Citizen's Brigade Theatre on Saturday, September 25th at 11:55 PM. Hosted by Tim Gunn (Michael Hartney) and Tim Gunn (John Flynn), and featuring two audience members who will compete in a design challenge that ends in a walk-off, only one designer can be called the winner.
