MIXTAPE, the audience favorite that ran for many years at the Horton Grand These  is back at the Lamb's Players Theatre in Coronado through September 1st and it has brought all of the 80''s back for the audience to enjoy. 

This November, witness a special 45-minute performance of THE LEGEND OF POCAHONTAS presented by TCT On Tour, the touring division of The Children's Theatre of Cincinnati, on the Ralph & Patricia Corbett Showtime Stage on Red Bank Road.

A cast of leading regional musical theatre artists from throughout Southern California will join a live orchestra on the stage of the Moonlight Amphitheatre for one-night-only on Sat., July 7 at 8:00 p.m. for a concert version of Sherman Edwards and Peter Stone's iconic Broadway musical 1776. Moonlight Stage Productions' chiefs Steven Glaudini, Producing Artistic Director, and Colleen Kollar Smith, Managing Director, will take prominent roles in the concert: Glaudini will reprise his award-winning portrayal of John Adams, while Kollar Smith will provide direction and musical staging. Ovation Award winner, John Glaudini, who serves as the Musical Director for FROZEN: LIVE AT THE HYPERION at Disneyland will musical direct and conduct.

The San Diego Theatre Critics Circle has announced the nominations for its 16th annual Craig Noel Awards for Theatrical Excellence, which will be presented in a ceremony on Feb. 12, 2018, at the Jacobs Center for Neighborhood Innovation in San Diego.

The UK premiere of Miracle on 34th Street: A Live Musical Radio Play will run at The Bridge House Theatre this holiday season, playing 27 November through 23 December 2017. Adapted from the Lux Radio Hour broadcast of the original film by Lance Arthur Smith, the show includes original lyrics, music and arrangements by Jon Lorenz. From the creators of the long-running hit Mixtape, Colleen Kollar Smith and Jon Lorenz, comes a new musical that journeys back to the 1990's. Kollar Smith helms the show as Director and Choreographer, with Lorenz working as Music Director and Arranger. Performances run July 28 - September 10, 2017, at the Horton Grand Theatre. Press opening is Saturday, August 5 at 8:00 p.m.

For the final year SDMT brings Irving Berlin's White Christmas to the historic Spreckels Theatre, with book by David Ives and Paul Blake, directed by Todd Nielsen.
