A Dark Foe, produced by Amy Williams, directed and co-written by Maria Gabriela Cardenas, will make its World Premiere at Hollywood Reel Independent Film Festival on Saturday, February 15th at 9:30PM at the Regal Cinema at LA Live. The film stars Selma Blair, Julie Gonzalez, Graham Greene, Glen Morshower, Monte Markham, Beverly Todd and Trisha Rae Stahl.
SWITCH By Stavroula Toska Heads to LA Femme International Film Festival

A provocative new pilot for television is poised to dominate the competition at this year's LA Femme International Film Festival. Switch, written by and starring Stavroula Toska, and directed by Toska, Cady McClain, Laurie Weltz, and Katie Maguire, is based on the real-life experiences of Toska who was a writer/actress turned successful dominatrix in Manhattan. Switch will screen on Thursday, October 17, 2019, 4PM at the Regal Cinema, LA Live.
Emmy Winner Cady McClain's Documentary 'Seeing is Believing: Women Direct' Launches Today on TuggEDU

Emmy® winning actress-turned-director Cady McClain's Seeing is Believing: Women Direct, a documentary film about women who direct film and television, is partnering with TuggEDU to bring the film to all North American schools, organizations, community centers, libraries, churches, groups, boardrooms and more. Groups can choose to host a private event or public screening, while high schools, community colleges and universities can purchase an educational license, DVD or host a single screening. The film is available in 27-, 58- and 84-minute versions. Ms. McClain is currently available to travel to screenings and to share her experience in the making of this film. The 84-minute, full-length feature version of the film will also be screening three times at the Heartland Film Festival in Indianapolis, where McClain will be appearing as a panelist on Saturday, Oct. 13 after the screening.

Emmy winning actress-turned-director Cady McClain's Seeing is Believing: Women Direct will make its World Premiere and is an Official Selection of the 2017 Newport Beach Film Festival. The first episode in the series will screen as part of the program 'Short Femme Factor' on April 25 at 1:30 p.m. at Island Cinema 6 in Newport Beach. Seeing is Believing: Women Direct is a documentary series, directed, executive produced, written and edited by Cady McClain, about women directors who are on the front lines of the field: from major award winners and those in the vanguard of television and feature films, to graduated students and frustrated auteurs.

After making her way down the slope, dirt kicking up on her mother's wedding gown, she reached toward the car, only to have the flames slap back her hands. The look on her face, thinking her beloved was gone---heck, even I teared up and I knew he wasn't dead.

Back for its sixth summer, the Fordham Alumni Company will for the first time host a weekend of film screenings created by Fordham Alumni. The sister program to the company's FRESH ART festival the weekend before, The CANNED Art weekend showcases work Fordham Alumni have finished creating, saved for prosperity in the can. A variety of feature length and short films, documentaries, as well as web-series and sketches will be shown. All screenings will be presented at the Wild Project (195 E. 3rd St., NYC). Admission is $5 per film. In addition, audience members can purchase a $12 “RamPass” to see 3 or more films. To purchase tickets in advance visit www.thewildproject.com.
