Actor Alistair Brammer played the lead role of Chris in the acclaimed West End revival of Miss Saigon. During his run, the show celebrated its 25th anniversary with a gala performance recently broadcast in the US, and appearing in UK cinemas for one night only on 16 October.
Katie Rosie Clarke (as Ellen) and Nicholas Christopher (as John) are the latest additions to the the cast of Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed new production of Boublil and Schonberg's legendary musical MISS SAIGON, which begins performances Wednesday, March 1 at The Broadway Theatre (1681 Broadway). Directed by Laurence Connor (LES MISERABLES, School of Rock), the Broadway return of MISS SAIGON will feature its American stars, Jon Jon Briones as The Engineer and 20-year-old Eva Noblezada as Kim, who created their roles in the West End to great acclaim. Rachelle Ann Goand Devin Ilaw have also recently joined the cast, as Gigi and Thuy. The lead male role of Chris will be announced later this month. Cameron Mackintosh announced today that his acclaimed new production of Boublil and Schonberg's legendary musical MISS SAIGON - a recent smash hit in London - will return to New York at its original home, The Broadway Theater (1681 Broadway) beginning performances Wednesday, March 1.
ISA BRIONES was born Isabella Camille Briones in London, England. Her parents, Jon Jon Briones and Megan Johnson Briones are both actors and singers, and her younger brother, Teo Briones is also an actor. She began modeling in New York at the age of 3, and started acting when her family moved to Los Angeles in 2006. She is best known for her role in the film Takers, playing Matt Dillon's daughter. Isa is entering her senior year of high school, and is excited to be making her professional theater debut in this production of Next to Normal. School theater credits include: Velma in Hairspray, Brooke in Legally Blonde and Abigail in The Crucible. TV and film: "Takers," "Cutthroat", "Lonely Boy".
