As BroadwayWorld reported earlier today, Cameron Mackintosh has confirmed that Boublil and Schonberg's beloved musical MISS SAIGON will wrap its West End Run at the Prince Edward Theatre on Saturday 27 February 2016 - and that it will soon be making flights to other shores. With news that it could be heading to Broadway, BroadwayWorld brings you a look back at the production!
Cameron Mackintosh announced today that his acclaimed new production of Boublil and Schonberg's legendary musical MISS SAIGON - a smash hit in London since its premiere there in May, 2014 - will open on Broadway in the spring of 2017 at a Shubert theater to be announced. The production will then tour to Toronto in 2018!
The production will close on January 15, 2018, prior to launching a national tour, which will open Providence, R.I. Stops in Boston, Chicago, Los Angeles, San Francisco, Toronto, Washington, DC, Philadelphia and more are currently scheduled.
