Marissa Jaret Winokur to Co-Star in RETIRED AT 35 Series

According to Deadline.com, Broadway veteran Marissa Jaret Winokur will co-star on TV Land's new series, 'Retired At 35.' The show 'centers on successful New Yorker David (Johnathan McClain) who moves in with his father (George Segal) and mother (Jessica Walter) in a Florida retirement community.' Winokur star as David's 'sharp-tongued, quick-witted' sister.

TV Land Picks Up Three New Sitcoms

TV Land announced today that the network is moving forward with three sitcoms - two new series and a renewal for 'Retired at 35.' These series join 'Hot in Cleveland' which is now up to a 24 episode order for season three. These pick-ups take TV Land from zero to four scripted sitcoms within less than a year's time, along with several additional sitcoms in development.

Furthering TV Land's expansion into the original sitcom landscape, the network announced today that it has signed several popular television and film actors to star in its three upcoming pilots. Fran Drescher ('The Nanny'), Tichina Arnold ('Everybody Hates Chris'), John Michael Higgins ('Best in Show,' 'Kath & Kim'), D.W. Moffett ('Friday Night Lights'), Rita Moreno ('West Side Story'), Valente Rodriguez ('George Lopez') and Robert Walden ('All The President's Men') will star in 'Happily Divorced' based on Drescher's life; Donald Faison ('Scrubs'), Wayne Knight ('Seinfeld,' 'Hot in Cleveland'), David Alan Basche ('The Starter Wife') and Kristen Johnston ('3rd Rock From The Sun') will headline an untitled Mark Reisman sitcom; and Christine Taylor ('Zoolander,' 'Arrested Development'), Barry Watson ('Samantha Who?,' '7th Heaven') and Sherri Shepherd ('The View,' '30 Rock') will star in a comedy pilot by Terri Minsky tentatively titled 'Rip City.' Anne Meara ('The King of Queens') will guest star in Minsky's show. All three pilots, which were previously announced in January, will be multi-camera and will tape in front of live audiences in February.

This January, TV Land is delivering a star-powered full hour of original comedy with the premiere of 'Retired at 35' on January 19th, 2011 at 10:30 PM ET/PT following the return of cable's #1 sitcom 'Hot in Cleveland.' 'Retired at 35' is TV Land's second original sitcom and stars veteran actors George Segal and Jessica Walter and newcomers Johnathan McClain, Josh McDermitt and Ryan Michelle Bathe. TV Land's first original sitcom, 'Hot in Cleveland,' premiered last year and became basic cable's #1 sitcom of all time among the network's target audience of A24-54 and total viewers. In its 10-episode run it even out-delivered shows like 'Mad Men,' 'Real Housewives of New Jersey,' 'Top Chef' and 'Nip/Tuck.'

Production Begins On TV Land's First Original Sitcom HOT IN CLEVELAND 5/10

TV Land announced today that production on the network's first original sitcom, 'Hot in Cleveland' starring Valerie Bertinelli, Jane Leeves, Wendie Malick and Betty White will begin on Monday, May 10. The 10 episode series premieres June 16 at 10pm on TV Land. The sitcom is TV Land's first foray into scripted comedy series and is a TV Land PRIME presentation. 'Hot in Cleveland' is executive produced by Emmy(R) Award-winner Sean Hayes and Todd Milliner of Hazy Mills Productions and is helmed by Emmy(R) Award-winning Suzanne Martin ('Frasier,' 'Ellen') serving as executive producer, show runner and writer.

Christine Ebersole Joins Cast of Upcoming 'Retired at 35' Pilot

Tony award winner Christine Ebersole has landed a role on the upcoming pilot of the show 'Retired at 35,' which will premiere on TV Land. The show will star a host of actors including George Segal, Johnathan McClain, Ryan Michelle Bathe, Jere Burns, Matt Champagne, Faye DeWitt, Josh McDermott, Jessica Walter, Casey Wilson, and George Wyner.

The Colony Theatre Company presents the fourth production of its 2008 - 2009 season, CANDIDA, written by George Bernard Shaw and directed by Kathleen F. Conlin. CANDIDA will preview on Wednesday, February 4; Thursday, February 5 and Friday, February 6 at 8:00pm and will open on Saturday, February 7 at 8:00pm and continue through Sunday, March 8 at The Colony Theatre, 555 North Third Street (at Cypress) adjacent to the Burbank Town Center. CANDIDA is the delightful, light-hearted classic from George Bernard Shaw, writer of Major Barbara and Arms and the Man, winner of the Academy-Award for writing Pygmalion, and recipient of the Nobel Prize for Literature. Reverend Morell thinks he and his wife, Candida, have the perfect marriage, but when a passionate young poet also declares his love for her, Morell begins to doubt whether his wife loves him after all. Written over 100 years ago, George Bernard Shaw shows that marriage hasn't changed all that much. Directed by Kathleen F. Conlin, from her acclaimed production at the Utah Shakespearean Festival.
