Las Vegas Philharmonic 2016-17 Performances to Air on NPR

The Las Vegas Philharmonic has partnered with  Nevada Public Radio for the second year to broadcast performances from its current 2016-17 season on Classical 89.7 FM Sundays at 2pm, starting June 4. Each broadcast will be 90 minutes to two hours in length and will include conversation with Music Director, Donato Cabrera and Nevada Public Radio's Dave Becker as well as full length performances by your symphony orchestra.  The programs featured on air will include the following Las Vegas Philharmonic concerts:

Texas Performing Arts announced today that the Austin Symphony Orchestra will perform Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone in Concert on September 23, 2017 at 7:30 PM and September 24, 2017 at 1:00 PM as part of the Harry Potter Film Concert Series. The concert will feature the live symphony orchestra performing, to picture, every note from Harry Potter and the Sorcerer's Stone. Audiences can relive the magic of the film in high definition on a 40-foot screen while the orchestra performs every note of John Williams' unforgettable score to picture live on stage.
