The Arthur Miller play first premiered on Broadway in 1953, and went on to win a Tony Award later that year for Best Play. Inspired by the then-current events of the Red Scare, Miller chose to write allegorical play about the Salem Witch Trials. THE CRUCIBLE opened February 2nd, and will continue to run through this Saturday, February 10th.
