The University of South Carolina's Department of Theatre and Dance presents THE CRUCIBLE at Longstreet Theatre! The Arthur Miller play first premiered on Broadway in 1953, and went on to win a Tony Award later that year for Best Play. Inspired by the then-current events of the Red Scare, Miller chose to write allegorical play about the Salem Witch Trials. THE CRUCIBLE opened February 2nd, and will continue to run through this Saturday, February 10th.

The Cast of THE CRUCIBLE: Kimberly Braun, Gabriela Castillo, Kaleb Edley, Kim Gaughan, Libby Hawkins, Darrell Johnston, Nicolas Stewart, Donavon St. Andre, Kate Chalfant, Amber Coulter, Sam Edelson, David Neil Edwards, Olivia Hensley, Tristan Hester, Will Hollerung, Liv Matthews, John Romanski, and Cassidy Spencer, Katrina Blanding, Hunter Boyle, Richard Edward III, Terrance Henderson, Jennifer Moody Sanchez, and Erica Tobolski.

The Creative Team: Robert Richmond (Director), Randy Young (Scenic Design), Allison Newcombe (Lighting Design), and Molly Morgan (Costume Design), and Danielle Wilson (Sound Design).
