The Little Orchestra Society presents Music Under the Big Top, an evening of entertainment and musical acrobatics for audiences of all ages at Damrosch Park, Lincoln Center. This first of its kind program for The Little Orchestra Society, conducted and co-hosted by new Music Director James Judd, will feature the Orchestra performing an eclectic array of classic and contemporary pieces in the ring of the Big Apple Circus joined by the talented violinist and composer Daniel Roumain.

On display this month is the impressive talent of some of Southern California's most gifted young musicians, as two of Pacific Symphony's three Youth Ensembles' (PSYE) 2013-14 seasons begin with concerts in Irvine. Led by Music Director Joshua Roach, Pacific Symphony Youth Wind Ensemble (PSYWE) enraptures listeners with a decadent American soundscape that combines present and past favorites, while Pacific Symphony Santiago Strings (PSSS) performs a robust program of music written by Russian composers. The Youth Wind Ensemble's concert takes place Sunday, Nov. 24, at 3 p.m., at the Irvine Barclay Theatre. Tickets are $12 general admission and may also be purchased at the door. The Santiago Strings perform on Saturday, Nov. 23, at 3 p.m., at Concordia University.

Columbia Records Columbia Records, in partnership with FX and Twentieth Century Fox Television, proudly presents the third installment of music to FX's highest rated series, Sons of Anarchy. The soundtrack, Songs of Anarchy Volume 3 features a collection of thirteen songs, including the return of the Forest Rangers and brand new recordings from cast members Maggie Siff and Golden Globe Winner Katey Sagal. Songs of Anarchy Volume 3 will be available Tuesday, December 3, 2013, with the pre-order available today. Along with the discovery of 5,000 historic theater scores, buried in an attic in Washington, D.C., Founder and Artistic Director of The Paragon Ragtime Orchestra Rick Benjamin was stunned when he came upon George Gershwin's long-lost Broadway score for La La Lucile, which hasn't been performed since 1919. The piece will make its premiere in Hackettstown this month at the Centenary Stage Company's Jammin' in July Summer Concert Series.

Pacific Symphony's annual free summer evenings of outdoor music and entertainment will come to Segerstrom Center's Arts Plaza for the first time on Friday, July 26 beginning at 5:30 p.m. The 2013 Target Symphony in the Cities (SITC) concert series on the Center's Arts Plaza will also help to celebrate Costa Mesa's 60th Anniversary. The Symphony, led by Music Director Carl St.Clair, will play familiar and well-loved tunes by Shostakovich, Massenet, Strauss (Jr. and Sr.!) and American legends John Williams, Leonard Bernstein and John Philip Sousa. Special guest performers are the doo-wop group The Alley Cats and violinist Kotaro Tsutsumi.

FROM BROADWAY WITH LOVE: A Benefit Concert for Sandy Hook, which took place on January 28, 2013, at the Palace Theater in Waterbury, Connecticut, will be airing on select public television stations throughout the tri-state area. An hour-long version of the concert will premiere tonight, July 18 at 10 p.m on WLIW21, Friday, July 26 at 10 p.m. on THIRTEEN and CPTV, and Tuesday, July 30 at 10 p.m. on NJTV. 'From Broadway With Love' was a concert of healing for the Newtown community where composers, musicians and more than 100 stars of Broadway came together with over 300 students from several Newtown dance groups, the Sandy Hook Elementary School 3rd and 4th grades and the Newtown High School Chamber Choir.
