This year's 31 Master of Fine Arts (MFA) candidates of the Actors Studio Drama School at Pace University have lived throughout the world (six countries, 19 states and two Caribbean islands). They've played professional tennis, recited slam poetry, and pirouetted in a tutu, as well as acted classically, comedically and experimentally. But all have chosen to spend the last three years in New York City, two express subway stops from Broadway, following their dream and refining their craft as actors, directors or playwrights in the only Masters' theater program endorsed by the renowned Actors Studio.

The acclaimed Lawrence Keller is directing 'Mud', the next show of the Women On The Cutting Edge series at Village Players Theater. 'Mud' opens March 27th, 2010.

The Open Fist Theatre Company presents the third show in their 2010 season, the Los Angeles Premiere of GETTING FRANKIE MARRIED - AND AFTERWARDS, written by acclaimed playwright Horton Foote (The Orphans Home Cycle) and directed by Scott Paulin (The Roads to Home, Harrison, Texas). Seattle Repertory Theatre celebrates the 25th anniversary of August Wilson's beloved story of baseball and family, Fences. The play is being staged in a number of notable productions across the country, including on Broadway next month. Seattle Rep's production, which plays March 26-April 18, 2010, is proud to include Wilson's widow Constanza Romero as the costume designer.

LAByrinth Theater Company (Co-Artistic Directors Stephen Adly Guirgis, Mimi O'Donnell, and Yul Vázquez) celebrates the legendary playwright Tennessee Williams with TENN 99, a three-day weekend event, a nonstop, 24/7 marathon celebration of the works of Tennessee Williams. The event will run day and night, all weekend long at The Cherry Lane Theater's 'Cherry Pit' beginning Friday afternoon, March 26th and concluding Sunday evening, March 28th. Admission is free

Keir Dullea will make his long-awaited return to the stage in Robert Anderson's I Never Sang for My Father, presented by the Keen Company in association with Wiltsie Bridge Productions, at Theatre Row from March 23 - May 1. Directed by Jonathan Silverstein, I Never Sang for My Father marks the second Anderson play presented by Keen, following the success of its 2007 critically acclaimed production of Tea & Sympathy.

The 21st annual Dusty Film and Animation Festival and Awards will highlight over 100 films by students graduating from the BFA Film, Video and Animation Department at the School of Visual Arts (SVA). The program includes screenings of short films, videos and animations; and an awards ceremony and gala with notable presenters from the film industry. This year's Screenwriters Night is a proud collaboration with The Neighborhood Playhouse School of the Theatre in which SVA graduating screenwriters will have selected scenes performed live by alumni from The Neighborhood Playhouse. All festival events take place at the SVA Theatre (333 West 23rd Street, between 8th and 9th Avenues).

According to published reports, Nu Image/Millennium Films has announced the cast for the upcoming film 'Conan.' Broadway actor and playwright Stephen Lang will join the cast along with Rose McGowan, Rachel Nichols, Ron Perlman, Said taghmaoui , Leo Howard, and Jason Momoa who will star as Conan.

Several Broadway stars are set for the upcoming Primary Stages Concert series, including Charles Busch, Mario Cantone, Penny Fuller, Julie Halston, Jamie deRoy, Gregg Edelman, and Karen Mason. The performances will take place in April and May over a one week span that will take place at the 59E59 Theatre.

Nicolas Kent, the award-winning artistic director of London's acclaimed Tricycle Theatre, directs a new version of A Walk in the Woods, Lee Blessing's Pulitzer-nominated play about nuclear negotiations, at Northern Stage in White River Junction, VT. For the first time, with the playwright's input, the play will feature a woman portraying the American negotiator.

Autumn Hurlbert, Lori Prince, and Michael Puzzo are set to star in Killing Women, by Marisa Wegrzyn and presented by kef productions. The production runs at the Beckett Theatre May 13- June 5 and will be directed by Adam Fitzgerald. Additional casting is yet to be announced.
