Tony Award winner Tenor Alfie Boe, known for his role as Jean Valjean in LES MISERABLES joins the fourth hour of NBC's TODAY to sing 'Bring Him Home' from the long-running Broadway hit

NBC has announced that today, November 17th, Broadway's Alfie Boe will perform a song from LES MISERABLES during the 10-11 a.m. hour of TODAY.

NBC has announced that on Tuesday, November 17th, Broadway's Alfie Boe will perform a song from LES MISERABLES during the 10-11 a.m. hour of TODAY.

A brand-new promo for Broadway's LES MISERABLES just hit YouTube (watch it below!), and it looks like Alfie Boe isn't long for the part of 'Jean Valjean'. The video announces the actor's departure date as February 28th, 2016. No word yet on who will replace him in the lead role, but BWW will keep our ears to the ground!

It transferred to the Palace Theatre on 4 December 1985 where it ran for 19 years before moving to its current home at the Queen's Theatre on 3 April 2004 where it has already played for 11 years and looks set to at least equal the run at the Palace Theatre as it is still playing to standing room only. When Les Miserables celebrated its 21st London birthday on 8 October 2006, it became the World's Longest Running Musical, surpassing the record previously held by Cats in London's West End.

WEST END HEROES, hosted by Christopher Biggins, the hugely popular star of musical theatre, screen comedies, panto dame extraordinaire and one of Britain's best-loved TV personalities, again united the country's top military musicians with even more West End performers and productions in a dazzling showcase of show-stopping numbers, unlikely song mash-ups and stunning choreography and precision drilling to raise funds for the Help For Heroes charity.
