Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director) announced that Erin Mackey (Sondheim on Sondheim, Wicked) will assume the role of 'Hope Harcourt' on Tuesday, September 13th. Original cast member Laura Osnes will play her final performance on Sunday, September 11th. Anything Goes is a limited engagement that has been extended through January 8th, 2012.

Roundabout Theatre Company's Anything Goes star Sutton Foster will be live in-studio at WNBC's 'New York Live' tomorrow between 5-5:30PM on channel 4.

On August 7 the ghosts come out to sing and dance and reminisce a bit when one of the most legendary musicals of all time returns to the Great White Way and previews begin for a sparkling new production of FOLLIES, directed by Eric Schaeffer, based on the recent Kennedy Center mounting of Stephen Sondheim and James Goldman's haunting and thrilling nostalgia cornucopia. While the various productions of FOLLIES over the decades have a lion's share of unforgettable star turns and show-stopping moments to treasure, the brand new Broadway revival could very well be the ghostly musical's true total resurrection for a 21st century audience. After all, this is the show which coined the term Broadway Baby! Speaking of which, with a cast boasting Broadway heavyweights Bernadette Peters, Jan Maxwell, Elaine Paige and Danny Burstein, along with upcoming InDepth InterView participant Ron Raines, along with the glories of Sondheim's masterful score and the moody magic that this musical can singularly conjure, this production is evidently poised to present FOLLIES as perfectly as potentially possible for a modern audience - so, while taking a look at this particular production and the past performances of the stars of the show we shall parse the looks, lives, love and lore that makes up FOLLIES - and a couple laughs, too - and also consider why it is one of the most important musicals of the twentieth century.

Roundabout Theatre Company announced that Kelly Bishop (A Chorus Line, original Broadway company) will assume the role of "Evangeline Harcourt" on Tuesday, August 9th. Original cast member Jessica Walter will play her final performance on Sunday, July 31st which was the original end date of the limited run, now extended through January 8th, 2012. As previously announced, The Kennedy Center's all-new, critically-acclaimed production of James Goldman and Stephen Sondheim's FOLLIES will transfer to Broadway this summer. FOLLIES will play a limited engagement at the Marquis Theatre, with performances beginning on August 7. It has just been announced that from the Kennedy Center all-star production, Bernadette Peters, Jan Maxwell, Danny Burstein and Ron Raines will be transferring with the production. Other members of the Broadway company will be announced shortly.

As previously reported, The Kennedy Center's all-new, critically-acclaimed production of James Goldman and Stephen Sondheim's Tony Award-winning musical FOLLIES will transfer to Broadway this summer. FOLLIES will play a limited engagement at the Marquis Theatre, with dates to be announced shortly. Rehearsals, it has just been revealed, will begin on August 7, 2011. While an official casting announcement is forthcoming, including a detail of those who will be transferring with the production, a casting notice out today indicates that the roles of Salange La Fitte (played in the Kennedy Center by Régine), Hattie Walker (Linda Lavin), and Theodore Whitman (Terrence Currier) are open. Linda Lavin's departure was reported last week upon the announcement that she would simultaneously be starring in THE LYONS at the Vineyard Theatre.
