Today, Theatre francais de Toronto (TfT) is pleased to announce the seven productions that will make up its 2016/17 season. This is the final season programmed by Guy Mignault (who will step down in June 2016 after 19 years as Artistic Director) and will be overseen by Joel Beddows, incoming Artistic Director.

Theater Schmeater and Battleground Productions are pleased to announce the opening of BRASS: Fatal Footlights, a new Steampunk mystery/comedy/thriller with fights by Louis Broome and John Longenbaugh. Fatal Footlights will then run todays, Fridays, and Saturdays through April 30th at 8PM.

Freehold Theater Lab Studio, Seattle's premiere independent theater school and lab for working professionals, has announced that they will be leaving their Belltown home of eight years for a new home at Maynard and Weller in the International District, with a planned opening of their expanded facility on September 15.

The Obie Award-winning Metropolitan Playhouse offers the first uncut revival of Susan Glaspell's 1931 Pulitzer winning ALISON'S HOUSE since its debut. Directed by Artistic Director Alex Roe at the Playhouse (220 E 4th Street, New York City), the production runs now through December 13, 2015. Opening night is set for tonight, November 20.

The new musical Daddy Long Legs will have an open-ended run at the Davenport Theatre (354 West 45th Street). Starring Megan McGinnis (Broadway's LES MISERABLES, Side Show, Little Women) and Paul Alexander Nolan (Broadway's Once, Jesus Christ Superstar, Doctor Zhivago) and based on the 1912 novel by Jean Webster, Daddy Long Legs features music and lyrics by Tony Award nominee Paul Gordon (Sense and Sensibility), book by Tony Award and Olivier Award winner John Caird (LES MISERABLES), and direction by John Caird. Roundabout Theatre Company (Todd Haimes, Artistic Director), in association with Ryan Murphy, just announced that Academy Award nominee Michael Shannon will return to Broadway as "James Tyrone, Jr." in Eugene O'Neill's Long Day's Journey Into Night, joining the previously announced Academy and Emmy Award winner Jessica Lange as "Mary Tyrone," Golden Globe winner and Tony Award nominee Gabriel Byrne as "James Tyrone," and Tony Award winner John Gallagher Jr. as "Edmund Tyrone." Jonathan Kent will direct, as part of Roundabout Theatre Company's 50th anniversary season.
