Hamm & Clov Stage Company will present a new production Irish Playwright Jimmy Kerr's exceedingly acclaimed and extremely hilarious Irish smash hit comedy 'ARDNAGLASS ON THE AIR' as part of the third annual 1st Irish Festival.

With the onset of the 2010-11 academic year, the University of Cincinnati College-Conservatory of Music ("CCM") proudly welcomes the following new faculty members.

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed "Best of New York" by New York Magazine, and "an invaluable New York institution" by The New York Post, continues its Fall 2010 season with the debut engagement of Broadway star and three-time Tony Award nominee KELLI O'HARA from October 19 - 30.

On Monday, September 20th at 8:00pm, the Bleecker Street Theater Company will present a reading of Charles Messina's astoundingly hilarious new Broadway-bound comedy, 'A ROOM OF MY OWN' as part of that theater's Play Development Series.

John Lithgow will bring his show: Stories By Heart to the Colonial on October 7, at 7:30PM. The McLean Community Center (MCC) is commemorating its thirty fifth year of serving residents of Small District One A-Dranesville with a month-long celebration. The highlight of the month will be a 35th Anniversary Gala to be held at 8 pm. on Saturday, Oct. 16, featuring a performance by award-winning actor John Lithgow in the Alden Theatre, which will be followed by a reception. The Center is located at 1234 Ingleside Avenue.

Having been the first to bring shows such as Jerry Herman's La Cage aux Folles, Neil Simon's The Goodbye Girl - The Musical, Mel Brooks' The Producers, as well as a regional theatre premiere production of The Wedding Singer to western Maryland audiences, Way Off Broadway is adding the musical comedy Dirty Rotten Scoundrels to the list of firsts. The outrageously funny musical opens September 10th and will run through November 7th.

Al Pacino is this year's recipient of the 2010 Primetime Emmy for Best Actor in a Mini-Series or a Movie for HBO's You Don't Know Jack. Theater vet Pacino has appeared on Broadway in Salome, American Buffalo, Hughie, and King Richard III, among others. He will next appear on Broadway in The Merchant of Venice, which opens at the Broadhurst Theatre this fall.

Claire Danes is this year's recipient of the 2010 Primetime Emmy for Best Actress in a Mini Series or a Movie for HBO's Temple Grandin. Theater vet Danes has appeared on Broadway in Pygmalion. Additional stage credits include The Vagina Monologues, the dance piece Edith and Jenny, among others.

The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards is airing live coast to coast tonight, on August 29 (8-11 p.m. EST) on NBC, originating from the Nokia Theatre L.A. in Los Angeles. Kyra Sedgwick is this year's recipient of the 2010 Primetime Emmy for Best Leading Actress in a Drama for TNT's The Closer. In 2007 and 2010, Sedgwick won Best Actress for lead role for the show at the Golden Globes. Sedgwick has appeared on Broadway in Twelfth Night and Ah, Wilderness.

As BroadwayWorld has previously reported, John Lithgow and Ann-Margaret are this year's recipients of the 2010 Primetime Emmy Awards for Best Guest Actor and Actress in a Drama, respectively. Lithgow won the Creative Arts Emmy for his guest stint on Showtime's Dexter, while Ann-Margaret received the honor for her appearance on NBC's Law & Order: SVU.

Edie Falco is this year's recipient of the 2010 Primetime Emmy for Best Leading Actress in a Comedy for Showtime's Nurse Jackie. Falco last appeared onstage in New York in This Wide Night opposite Alison Pill and has starred on Broadway in 'night Mother, Frankie and Johnny in the Clair de Lune, and Side Man.

Eric Stonestreet has receieved the 2010 Primetime Emmy Award for Outstanding Supporting Actor in a Comedy for Modern Family. Stonestreet plays 'Cameron' on the series.

This year, The Carol Tambor Best of Edinburgh Award goes to OVID'S METAMORPHOSES, adapted and directed by Peter Bramley with original music by Lucy Egger. The production is from the acclaimed London-based company Pants On Fire. The Carol Tambor Theatrical Foundation will present the winning production at the Obie and Drama Desk Award-winning The Flea Theater in January 2011.
