The National Symphony Orchestra (NSO) presents The Trumpet of the Swan: A Novel Symphony starring John Lithgow, based on the book by E.B. White, adapted for the stage by Marsha Norman, with music by Jason Robert Brown, who will also conduct.

Keith Lockhart and the Boston Pops honor one of the greatest of the great American Songbook, Cole Porter. A supreme tunesmith and witty wordsmith, Porter's saucy style comes to life with Broadway darlings Kelli O'Hara and Jason Danieley. Included on the program are his iconic songs 'Night and Day,' 'I GetA Kick Out of You,' 'What Is This Thing Called Love?' 'Begin the Beguine,' 'It's De-Lovely' plus much more.

The Carol Tambor Theatrical Foundation and The Flea Theater present PANTS ON FIRE'S METAMORPHOSES, adapted and directed by Peter Bramley. PANTS ON FIRE'S METAMORPHOSES comes to the US from the Pleasance Dome in Edinburgh, where it premiered at the Edinburgh Festival Fringe. PANTS ON FIRE'S METAMORPHOSES concludes performances on Sunday, January 30 at The Flea Theater.

Celebrated actress and two-time Tony Award-winner Frances Sternhagen will be joining the confluence of artists and audiences for Florida Stage's 5th Annual 1st Stage New Works Festival. Ms. Sternhagen will be featured in a staged reading of legendary playwright Israel Horovitz' new play Beverley on Saturday, February 5, 2011. On Friday, February 4, in place of the Festival's usual Keynote speech, Ms. Sternhagen will take part in what is being called 'A Conversation with Frances Sternhagen.' Florida Stage Producing Director Louis Tyrrell will conduct a public interview with Sternhagen on stage in the Persson Hall at the Kravis Center for the Performing Arts. The Florida Stage 1st Stage New Works Festival takes place February 3-6, 2011. Alley Artist Todd Waite will reprise his role as 'Crumpet the Elf' in the outlandish, and true, chronicles of David Sedaris' experience as a worker in Macy's SantaLand display. Also this season, for select performances Alley Artist Paul Hope will appear as 'Crumpet the Elf': December 8 at 7:30 PM, December 9 at 7:30 PM, December 10 at 6:00 PM and Saturday, December 11 at 2:30 PM.

Two stars of the stage - Kelli O'Hara and Nathan Gunn -will join the New York Philharmonic for an evening of songs and duets from the Golden Age of Broadway, conducted by Tony Award winner Ted Sperling, Monday, March 21, 2011, at 7:30 p.m. Ms. O'Hara, fresh off her highly successful run as Nellie Forbush in South Pacific at Lincoln Center Theater, returns to the New York Philharmonic following two previous appearances, including her acclaimed starring role as Eliza Doolittle in the Orchestra's 2007 production of My Fair Lady. Baritone Nathan Gunn returns after winning hearts as the swashbuckling Sir Lancelot in the Philharmonic's 2008 Camelot production and his featured role in last season's SONDHEIM: The Birthday Concert! The two stage luminaries will perform selections from classic Broadway musicals by Rodgers and Hammerstein, Cole Porter, Kurt Weill, and Stephen Sondheim, ranging from Carousel to Follies.
