Kyra Sedgwick is this year's recipient of the 2010 Primetime Emmy for Best Leading Actress in a Drama for TNT's The Closer. In 2007 and 2010, Sedgwick won Best Actress for lead role for the show at the Golden Globes. Sedgwick has appeared on Broadway in Twelfth Night and Ah, Wilderness.

The 62nd Primetime Emmy Awards is airing live coast to coast tonight, on August 29 (8-11 p.m. EST) on NBC, originating from the Nokia Theatre L.A. in Los Angeles. The awards are being produced by Don Mischer and hosted by Jimmy Fallon.
