This season, along with Charles Dickens' A Christmas Carol - A Ghost Story of Christmas, which runs on the Hubbard Stage, the Alley Theatre will once again present a second holiday production, David Sedaris' The Santaland Diaries on the Neuhaus Stage. Alley Artist Todd Waite will reprise his role as 'Crumpet the Elf' in the outlandish, and true, chronicles of David Sedaris' experience as a worker in Macy's SantaLand display. Also this season, for select performances Alley Artist Paul Hope will appear as 'Crumpet the Elf': December 8 at 7:30 PM, December 9 at 7:30 PM, December 10 at 6:00 PM and Saturday, December 11 at 2:30 PM.

Way_Off_Broadway_Theatre_Presents_DIRTY_ROTTON_SCOUNDRELS_Sept_10_Nov_7_20010101 The Way Off Broadway Dinner Theatre will once again bring an area premiere production to the Frederick-area stage. Having been the first to bring shows such as Jerry Herman's La Cage aux Folles, Neil Simon's The Goodbye Girl - The Musical, Mel Brooks' The Producers, as well as a regional theatre premiere production of The Wedding Singer to western Maryland audiences, Way Off Broadway is adding the musical comedy Dirty Rotten Scoundrels to the list of firsts. The outrageously funny musical opens September 10th and will run through November 7th.

FEINSTEIN'S AT LOEWS REGENCY, the nightclub proclaimed 'Best of New York' by New York Magazine, and 'an invaluable New York institution' by The New York Post, continues its Fall 2010 season with the debut engagement of Broadway star and three-time Tony Award nominee Kelli O'Hara last night, October 19. In her new show, which runs through October 30, Ms. O'Hara takes a journey beyond the ingénue by mixing songs by newer songwriters like Tom Kitt and Ricky Ian Gordon with classics by Frank Loesser ('Somebody, Somewhere') Irving Berlin ('Always'). All performances, which feature a quartet led by Music Director Dan Lipton, will be at the Regency Hotel (540 Park Avenue at 61st Street). Celebrated stage, film and television actor Peter Weller has joined the cast of SHOWTIME's recently Emmy(R)-nominated drama series DEXTER. Weller, who will guest star in eight episodes in the upcoming fifth season, will play a troubled Miami Metro police officer who gets caught up in an internal affairs investigation. Production on season five is currently underway and will premiere Sunday, September 26th at 9:00 PM ET/PT on SHOWTIME.
