The play takes audiences on a trip back in time where Rocky Mountain High takes on a whole new meaning and things aren't always as they appear to be.  From cool Compton cowboys to bawdy brothel babes, this smokin' new hybrid of a show features music, dancing, witty quips, silly stereotypes and a tokin' nod to the current zombie craze.

CITY OF ANGELS, running tonight, March 4, through April 3, 2016, in the Hawks Mainstage Theatre at the Omaha Community Playhouse, is a film noir-style musical that pays homage to glamorous 1940s Hollywood. Winner of six Tony Awards, including Best Musical, this clever show has two plots running simultaneously (the real world and the 'reel' world) as a man writes a screenplay that mirrors his own life. The Realistic Joneses, Will Eno's brilliant new comedy, will play American Conservatory Theater's Geary Theater (415 Geary St., San Francisco) for a limited engagement March 9-April 3, 2016.

Recording artist John Jones is proud to announce the release of his new album, a gospel flavored soul experience entitled, The Book of John Pt. 1. This album breaks new ground for John Jones, creating inspirational music that is not 'holier-than-thou'. He believes everyone in the world is a sinner and that we are all W.I.P. a.k.a. Work in Progress. John calls this project 'inspirational music for sinners.' 'W.I.P' is the first track on the album. The song is John's personal testimony on his faith and features John's unique blend of Hip Hop & R&B. The second track on the album is 'Praying Mothers,' an up-tempo gospel song that pays tribute to the mother's of the world. This song is dedicated to John's mother who passed away on Valentine's Day of this year.

Sheridan College's Canadian Music Theatre Project presents the world premiere of Brantwood: 1920-2020, a groundbreaking, immersive musical theatre experience created and directed by Outside the March's Mitchell Cushman and Convergence Theatre's Julie Tepperman and produced by Michael Rubinoff, Sheridan's Associate Dean of Visual and Performing Arts.
