Patti LuPone has responded to hate on social media. Following an incident last week at Hadestown that involved Lillias White mistakenly calling out a hard of hearing audience member for using a captioning device, theatre fans are making their opinion of the event known. While some have taken to Twitter to express outrage over White's misstep, others have been quick to compare the backlash to some of LuPone's past onstage antics- many of which have received praise.

Retro Productions will put their own unique spin on a revival of Eric Overmyer’s play On the Verge (or the Geography of Yearning), that follows Mary, Alex and Fanny as they travel into the future and discover a world that is beyond anything they could imagine. The epic journey takes them through the jungle, over ice cliffs and right up to an Esso station in 1950’s America where their greatest adventures await - including their first encounter with Cool Whip.
