Pacific Symphony is proud to announce that longtime supporters Ling and Charlie Zhang have donated to the orchestra the $6.16-million building that houses the organization's administrative headquarters. Because of this donation, the Symphony projects it will save at least $150,000 per year on the 15,399-square-foot space. Located at 17620 Fitch, Irvine, the Class A office building was named for the couple in 2017.

Houston-based, genre-bending rockers Folk Family Revival announce the release of their upcoming album “Electric Darlin” out on Friday, June 7. The band of brothers, comprised of Mason, Barrett and Lincoln Lankford and family friend and adopted brother Caleb Pace, have been making music together for years, redefining their sound and flowing through various genres with each record release. With “Electric Darlin,” the guys are throwing their fans another curveball with a new, experimental sound. The album was produced by John Evans and recorded by Patrick Herzfeld at Signal Hill Recording Studio in Dripping Springs, Texas. There will be an official Austin album release show on Friday, June 7 at Sam's Town Point, located at 2115 Allred Dr., Austin, Texas 78748. Houston-based Splice Records is thrilled to announce that they have just recently signed Austin-based, soul band Tomar & The FCs to their roster. Splice Founder and Owner Shaun Brennan first discovered Tomar & The FCs when he and a friend attended a show at historic Houston venue, the Continental Club in 2016. After Tomar & The FCs' electric, high-energy performance, Brennan immediately bought two of their albums and booked them to play Splice Records' annual River Revival Music Fest where they headlined the main stage during a Friday night slot. After continuously booking them at various venues in Houston and Austin, Brennan was compelled to work with the soul virtuosos and signed them in 2018.
