Kevin Cahoon will co-star on the new season of Glow when it drops August 9th. Cahoon starred on Broadway asEd the Hyena in The Lion King and went on to be the stand by for John Cameron Mitchell in the original production of Hedwig. He also played George in The Wedding Singer, The Childcatcher in Chitty Chitty Bang Bang, and was in the revival of The Rocky Horror Show.

Touring production featuring two Nova Scotians brings Tony Winning Hedwig and the Angry Inch to Halifax

Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed production of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg's Tony Award-winning musical phenomenon, LES MISERABLES, will go on sale at 10 a.m., Friday, July 12, for its much-anticipated return to the Majestic Theatre direct from a celebrated two-and-a-half year Broadway engagement. 

'I tried to tell a simple story about droughts that happen to people, and about faith,' wrote N. Richard Nash (1913-2000) in regards to his own profoundly beautiful play, 'The Rainmaker.'

'Everybody Say Yeah' because this month BroadwayHD, the premiere streaming service for theater fans, is gearing up to add more electrifying performances including the record-breaking Broadway and West End hit, Kinky Boots.  The Tony-Award winning Kinky Boots, from pop icon Cyndi Lauper and legendary playwright Harvey Fierstein, which was filmed at London's Adelphi Theater last year, will be arriving on the service on July 15th. 

In the Wings Promotions (ITW) is proud to announce the remount of their critically acclaimed production of HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, as an official event of this year's Fierte Montreal Montreal Pride.  11th Hour Theatre Company has announced an exciting 15th Anniversary season. The only company in the city dedicated to producing all musicals has created a line-up of two Next Step Concerts of rarely produced musicals and a Mainstage musical years in the making. The season kicks off with a concert version of William Finn and James Lapine's Falsettos.  Then the company starts 2020 with a bang and a concert of Benny Andersson, Bjorn Ulvaeus and Tim Rice's Chess. In the Spring, 11th Hour tackles a musical it has been hoping to produce for years: John Cameron Mitchell and Stephen Trask's sensation Hedwig and the Angry Inch. 11th Hour is also introducing a new series of Musical Theatre Salons for this upcoming season as well, which are exclusive member's only events featuring intimate conversations with some of Philadelphia's most well-known musical theatre talents. Lexus Broadway in Austin presented by Texas Performing Arts is proud to present the Austin engagement of LES MISERABLES.  By popular demand, Cameron Mackintosh's acclaimed production of Alain Boublil and Claude-Michel Schonberg's Tony Award-winning musical phenomenon, LES MISERABLES will return to Austin at Bass Concert Hall for one-week only September 10-15, 2019.  Tickets go on sale Friday, June 28 at 10:00 a.m.

Blake Holliday's jaw-dropping performance as "international song stylist" Hedwig Schmidt is reason enough to book your tickets as soon as possible to witness the actor's transformation in a 90+ minute production of Hedwig and the Angry Inch now ensconced at Nashville's Street Theatre Company through July 6. But there's another performance which is just an impressive and just as awe-inspiring from Natalie Rankin, who transforms into Itzhak, the "husband" of Hedwig whose hangdog expression and considerable stage presence clearly rivals that of the show's eponymous star.

HEDWIG AND THE ANGRY INCH, which makes its triumphant return to the Short North Stage's Garden Theatre (1187 N. High Street in downtown Columbus) this June, is a musical that thrives in its awkward pauses. It is one-part comedy, two parts heartbreaking exposition of a soul-bearing torment, blended together with a pulsating rock soundtrack.

It's hard to dream up a better way to kick off LGBTQ Pride Month than with a Judy Garland-themed concert hosted by a queer artist and raising money for an LGBTQ organization.

The seventh annual 'Night Of A Thousand Judys' - the Pride concert to benefit The Ali Forney Center written and hosted by Justin Sayre - featured the musical talents of two time Tony Award-nominee Christine Andreas (My Fair Lady, Oklahoma!), Nathan Lee Graham (Zoolander, 'LA to Vegas'), Brittain Ashford (The Great Comet of 1812), Matt Doyle (Spring Awakening, The Book of Mormon), Julian Fleisher (New York Public Radio), Molly Pope (Cafe Caryle, Adelaide Festival), Kat Cunning (HBO's 'The Deuce,' Company XIV), and Amber Martin (John Cameron Mitchell's The Origin of Love).

McCarter will welcome a group of esteemed and emerging playwrights and theater artists to Princeton for the Sallie B. Goodman Artists' Retreat. The annual retreat in June is a centerpiece of McCarter's LAB, a platform and creative incubator devoted to ongoing theatrical development and artist cultivation. The 2019 Retreat will take place from June 12 - June 19.

The Disappearing Man, a new folk opera with Music, Lyrics and Book by Jahn Sood, Directed by NYMF's Artistic Director West Hyler, Music Directed and Arranged by Brian Cavanagh-Strong is set for three readings this summer as part of the New York Musical Festival reading series.

In celebration of the 50th Anniversary of Stonewall and World Pride coming to New York for the first time ever, Labyrinth Dance Theaterpresents Come Back Once More So I Can Say Goodbye,an evening-length theatrical dance concert featuring live original music and choreography, vintage recordings, historic footage, political soundbites and stunning visuals.Artistic Director Sasha Spielvogel's landmark piece tells the story of the gay community in New York City from 1965-1995:from the historic Sip-In at the Julius Bar and the early Gay Rights Movement to the uprising at Stonewall, and through the widespread apathy and abject hysteria of the AIDS crisis, these stunning performances allow us to experience the indomitable resolve of those who defiantly faced the siege against them with humor, bravery and compassion.
