Pacific Symphony rings in the New Year with two monumental Russian works on one exceptional program. First, one of the repertoire's most-loved and instantly recognizable concertos-Tchaikovsky's gorgeous and grand Piano Concerto No. 1-becomes the center of attention for this orchestral showcase led by Music Director Carl St.Clair.

Led by CSO Music Director Rossen Milanov and featuring guest clarinetist David Krakauer, this intriguing, genre-bending program celebrates the origins and influences of klezmer music, the lively and soulful dance tunes played by Jewish folk musicians as they traveled throughout eastern Europe during the nineteenth and early twentieth centuries. Program selections range from folk-flavored classical pieces by Liszt and Johann Strauss to recent works with similarly mixed roots.

'The King of Waltz' has done it again. Breaking his own box office record from last year, Andre Rieu's 2016 Maastricht Concert in Cinemas took more than £1.4 million at the UK box office on the weekend to become the Highest Grossing Music Concert of all time.

PREMIERES, the New York based music theater organization whose mission is 'to bring new music theater to light,' has announced the complete cast and creative teams for this season's Inner Voices, the biannual series of solo works featuring new teams of playwrights and composers. Performances began October 3rd and continue through October 29 at The TBG Theatre (312 West 36th Street - between 8th & 9th Avenues). Opening Night is tonight, October 13th at 8:00pm.

Pacific Symphony Youth Wind Ensemble (PSYWE) is in the business of making not only music but also dreams come true, as the group enters its 10th anniversary season in 2016-17-culminating in a nine-day international tour next summer!
