A host of Broadway stars gathered to record the music of Jonathan Reid Gealt for an album to benefit Broadway Impact, released today, April 30, 2013.

The company of the Keen Company production of Marry Me A Little, Lauren Molina and Jason Tam, will enter the studio today, April 26th, to preserve the Original Off-Broadway Cast Recording for Ghostlight Records. A summer release is planned. Joel Moss will produce the album, with Kurt Deutsch serving as Executive Producer. Musical Director is John Bell.

GIANT had its New York Premiere at The Public Theater last fall, and was a co-production with Dallas Theater Center. GIANT features music and lyrics by Michael John LaChiusa, and a book by Sybille Pearson, based on the novel by Edna Ferber. The Public Theater (Artistic Director, Oskar Eustis; Executive Director, Patrick Willingham) announced today that the cast of the acclaimed epic musical GIANT will enter the recording studio in January to create an original cast album, which will be released by Ghostlight Records in spring 2013.
