'Submissions Only,' Broadway's favorite webseries, is back at a new time on Monday, April 28. Instead of the usual 9:00 p.m. air time, episode 5 of Submissions Only will air at 12:00 a.m. on Monday, April 28, and be available to view on demand at any time throughout the day on Monday.

Peggy King to Play Metropolitan Room with All-Star Jazz Trio, 4/29

As the result of her recent successful appearances at the Metropolitan Room, singer Peggy King will be joined by the entire All-Star Jazz Trio for her next show on Tuesday, April 29 at 7 PM. The award-winning group consists of Andy Kahn on piano, Bruce Klauber on drums and Bruce Kaminsky on drums and they have been performing with King for the past year, but this will mark their debut at the Metropolitan Room.

Al Tapper Wins Peabody Award for BROADWAY MUSICALS: A JEWISH LEGACY

Al Tapper, composer of the Off Broadway shows Sessions, An Evening at the Carlyle and National Pastime, has won a highly prestigious Peabody Award for his documentary Broadway Musicals: A Jewish Legacy. Tapper produced the 90 minute show for WNET. The Peabody Award celebrates excellence in broadcasting. Broadway Musicals: A Jewish Legacy is the first documentary film to explore the phenomenal relationship that Broadway has had with Jewish Americans. From George Gershwin to Irving Berlin to Kander and Ebb to Stephen Sondheim, the Broadway musical has been dominated by Jewish writers and composers.
