The Santa Barbara International Film Festival (SBIFF), presented by UGG®, will return for the 35th edition January 15 – 25, 2020. 200+ Films featuring over 120 World and US premieres, Industry Panels, Celebrity Tributes, and Educational and Free Community Programs will be held throughout Santa Barbara, including the Arlington and Lobero Theatres.

Antioch University Santa Barbara (AUSB), a private, nonprofit undergraduate and graduate institution, will begin its inaugural Master of Fine Arts in Writing and Contemporary Media (MFA) academic program this winter, aimed at developing tomorrow's leaders in professional writing disciplines. Variety reports that Scarlett Johansson is set to star as actress Janet Leigh in Fox Searchlight pictures ALFRED HICHCOCK AND THE MAKING OF PSYCHO. The film will focus on the making of the 1960 Hitchcock classic horror thriller PSYCHO which starred Leigh and Anthony Perkins.
