The Kennedy Center presents the return of Elephant & Piggie's We Are in a Play! in the Family Theater from November 25, 2015 to January 3, 2016. 

'The No Rules Sketch Show' at Signature Theatre actually pretty much follows every rule of contemporary sketch work by including some slightly topical humor, some celebrity impersonations, broad physical comedy and a lot of bawdiness meant to be enhanced by the available cocktails.

After 27 years, the crowd pleasing SHEAR MADNESS at the Kennedy Center for the Performing Arts has become the 2nd longest-running theatrical production in the country, second only to the same production at the Charles Playhouse in Boston. According to press notes, the play has now been seen by a worldwide audience of 10.9 million with over 3.2 million people attending the Kennedy Center production alone.

In celebration of the 50th anniversary of the Broadway production this fall, Arena Stage at the Mead Center for American Theater mounts a new staging of Fiddler on the Roof, the iconic musical that has captured the hearts of audiences worldwide. Helmed by Artistic Director Molly Smith, the production features choreography by Arena favoriteParker Esse, who adapts the original Jerome Robbins choreography for an in-the-round staging, and a 10-piece orchestra led by Musical Director Paul Sportelli (Arena's My Fair Lady, Light in the Piazza). The Folger Theatre launches its 2013/14 season with the world's most celebrated love story, Shakespeare's Romeo and Juliet. This timeless story of young, passionate love set against a sea of hate is retold by three-time Helen Hayes Award-winning director Aaron Posner (The Taming of the Shrew, Cyrano, and Macbeth at the Folger), leading an outstanding ensemble including Michael Goldsmith (Clybourne Park in London's West End) as Romeo and Erin Weaver (Arcadia and The Comedy of Errors at the Folger) as Juliet. Romeo and Juliet begins performances on Tuesday, October 15, 2013 and continues its initial run through Sunday, December 1.
