Brooklyn Center for the Performing Arts at Brooklyn College is pleased to partner with renowned DJ/producer Felix Hernandez, who will host Rhythm Revue: A Latin Soul Celebration, an evening of live music and DJing celebrating the musical genres of Latin Soul and Boogaloo, on Saturday, April 9, 2016 at 8pm. Lincoln Center Out of Doors 2015 will present three weeks of FREE music and dance across the plazas of Lincoln Center from July 22 to August 9 in the 45th edition of the popular outdoor summer festival. Out of Doors will offer a diverse range of concerts, dance, family and special events featuring dozens of U.S., international and local artists.

City Parks Foundation has launched the 2013 season of SummerStage presented by AT&T, New York's largest free performing arts festival, bringing over 100 free performances to seventeen parks throughout the five boroughs. With twenty shows and forty artists over three months and the capacity for over fifty thousand audience members, New York City's SummerStage Festival presents the continental United States' largest array of free Latin music performance this year. Randy Gener, the New York-based editor, writer and artist, joins the country's first-ever recipients of the 2012 Filipino-American Heritage Achievement Awards. This national U.S. recognition honors Filipino Americans who, in the estimation of the Los Angeles Filipino Association of City Employees (LAFACE), 'helped shape the last 425 years of Fil-Ams in United States.'
