Barry Manilow Headlines 'FROM SELLING JINGLES TO SELLING OUT BROADWAY' Benefit for New York Theatre Barn Tonight

Grammy, Emmy, and Tony Award winner Barry Manilow will headline a benefit event for the New York-based non-profit theatre company New York Theatre Barn called A Conversation with Barry Manilow: From Selling Jingles To Selling Out Broadway tonight, April 14, 2013 at 2pm in New York City. All proceeds will support New York Theatre Barn's groundbreaking platform for new musicals and their writers NYTB in the D-Lounge, and its other mission-driven programming and outreach.

Danny Quadrino, Andrea Ross and More Set for ALL OF MY FRIENDS ARE WHORES at the Duplex, 4/22

Broadway's Danny Quadrino (Bye Bye Birdie), Andrea Ross (Whistle Down The Wind) andLindsey Carothers (Bring It On) are among the just-announced cast of Pace University students for a one night only concert of songs and monologues by award-winning theater writer Drew Fornarola (COLLEGE The Musical, Molly Shannon's Tilly The Trickster). The show plays at The Duplex Cabaret Theatre (61 Christopher Street at 7th Ave) on April 22nd at 9:30pm. The evening is curated and directed by Joshua W. Kelley, with music direction by Addison O'Donnell, and stage managed by Coleman Annison.

The award-winning New York Theatre Barn is partnering with Brooklyn-based choral ensemble Choral Chameleon to produce the world premiere production of Tamar of the River Oratorio for two nights only in Carroll Gardens, Brooklyn tonight, March 9 and tomorrow, March 10, 2013 starring Broadway's Jessica Grove in the title role, and the 12 singers of Choral Chameleon embodying the River.

New York Theatre Barn will present a free private reading of the new musical Costs of Living November 7 and 8 in the Theatre District. Jose Llana (The 25th Annual Putnam County Spelling Bee) and Enrico Rodriguez (Zanna, Don't!, Rent) will star. Costs of Living, with book, music and lyrics by Timothy Huang, was a selection of Stephen Schwartz's 2012 ASCAP Musical Theatre Workshop and a 2012 American Harmony Prize finalist.
