$35 Access Seats to Broadway's THE RIVER On Sale Next Week

$35 access seats for the first week of performances of The River will be available for purchase starting this Monday, October 27 at 10:00 AM at the Circle in the Square Theatre box office (50th Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue). The production begins previews on Friday, October 31 at Circle in the Square (50th Street between Broadway and Eighth Avenue) and will play three performances for the week ending Sunday, November 2.

Tonya Pinkins, Trezana Beverley & More to Star in Yale Rep's WAR; Cast Announced!

YALE REPERTORY THEATRE presents the world premiere of WAR by Branden Jacobs-Jenkins, directed by Lileana Blain-Cruz, November 21–December 13 at Yale Repertory Theatre (1120 Chapel Street). The company opening is scheduled for Friday, November 28. The official press opening will follow on Saturday, November 29.

Griffin Theatre Sets 27 Member Cast for BALM IN GILEAD, Beginning March 2015

Griffin Theatre Company has announced casting for its spring production of Lanford Wilson's acclaimed drama BALM IN GILEAD directed by ensemble member Jonathan Berry, playing March 14 - April 19, 2015 at The Den Theatre, 1329-1333 N. Westchester Broadway Theatre dusted off the original version of Rogers & Hammerstein's South Pacific. The show is based on the Pulitzer Prize- winning book "Tales of the South Pacific" by James A. Michener. This is not a revival of the production done a few years ago at Lincoln Center Theater.

BWW Reviews: Reinvented CABARET Sizzles at Crown

Perhaps Kander and Ebb's best musical, apart from Chicago, Cabaret has it all: a fine book, deliciously diverse characters, dynamite music and a subtext that will not quit. The subtext being: either compromise or get out if you value your life, the latter, to be sure, the wiser. This is Berlin, circa 1930, before Hitler, but just as Nazi pressure hits the fan. Crown City Theatre's new revival production, with a small ensemble of 11, has a completely new look with slick direction from Gary Lamb.

CBS Cancels UNFORGETTABLE

CBS' detective show UNFORGETTABLE seems to be just the opposite of its title. According to EW, CBS has yet again canceled UNFORGETTABLE after having previously canceled it in May 2012. The show began in 2011 and had three seasons.

LA Phil's Toyota Symphonies for Youth Concerts Begin 2014/15 Season at Walt Disney Concert Hall

The Los Angeles Philharmonic Association's 2014/15 Toyota Symphonies for Youth (TSFY) concert series at Walt Disney Concert Hall begins on Saturday, October 18, and Saturday, October 25, at 11 a.m., with "The Organ: Stops, Keys, Pedals and Pipes!" - two performances of an original concert production that celebrates the tenth birthday of the Walt Disney Concert Hall's pipe organ.

Continuing 82 years of continuous Community Theater, the Bergen County Players (BCP) presents Neil Simon's comedy, 45 Seconds from Broadway. Directed by Iris Weinhouse, 45 Seconds from Broadway will be performed at the Little Firehouse Theatre in Oradell from October 25th - November 15th, 2014. Shows will be on Fridays and Saturdays at 8pm (with the exception of October 31st) and Sundays at 2pm. Little Theatre of Mechanicsburg Opens 2014-15 Season With THE FANTASTICKS Tonight

Little Theatre of Mechanicsburg is proud to present the musical The Fantasticks to open their 2014-2015 Season. This longest-running New York musical opened in 1960 at The Sullivan Street Theater in New York City. Following a brief hiatus after 42 years, the musical was reopened in 2006 and is currently running there.
