Following rumors of Dan Stevens' intent to depart the acclaimed British drama DOWNTON ABBEY, TVLine has confirmed the actor will not return as a series regular on the upcoming fourth season. According to sources, the actor may appear in select episodes when production time comes in February.

The teaser reveals what's in store for the Crawley family and the inhabitants of Downton in the upcoming season. According to The Huffington Post, actress Maggie Smith will be leaving the popular PBS series DOWNTOWN ABBEY at the conclusion of the show's third season.
