Second Stage Theatre welcomes film star Amanda Seyfried (Les Miserables, Dear John, Mamma Mia!, upcoming Ted 2 and Pan) in her off-Broadway debut opposite Thomas Sadoski (The Newsroom, Wild, upcoming in NBC's The Slap) in the world premiere production of Neil LaBute's drama, The Way We Get By. Directed by Tony nominee Leigh Silverman, the production officially opens on May 19, 2015 at Second Stage Theatre, 305 West 43rd Street. BroadwayWorld has a first look at the stars in action below!

Signature Theatre has announced that the unique World of the Play series continues with "Exploring Outsider Art." This World of the Play event will explore the work of Outsider Artists like the self-taught Nukain Mabusa, whose life and work inspired Athol Fugard's The Painted Rocks at Revolver Creek. The panel of experts for this exciting discussion include gallerist Andrew Edlin, arts journalist Edward M. Gomez, and curator Kristin Sancken. The discussion will be led by moderator Brian Phillips. The event is free and open to the general public (no reservations required).

DINNER WITH THE BOYS is a new comedy by the beloved actor and writer Dan Lauria (LOMBARDI, 'The Wonder Years' and 'Sullivan & Son') and opens tonight, May 4, off-Broadway at the Acorn Theatre at Theatre Row (410 W. 42 St.) in New York City. It is produced by Pat Addiss and Olympus Theatricals.

Turning a profit in the theatre business is challenging at best but it isn't surprising that MOTOWN THE MUSICAL easily recouped its initial investment during its run on Broadway, or its outlay for the First National Tour, now playing at the Hollywood Pantages. The popularity of the Motown sound is undeniable. Even if you wanted to, it's impossible to keep from being carried away by the irresistible groove of the music. And why would you even want to try?

The world premiere production of HAMILTON, inspired by the book 'Alexander Hamilton' by Ron Chernow, with book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and directed by Thomas Kail, concludes its run tonight, May 3, at The Public Theater. But this is not the end of the road for the company. HAMILTON will start performances on Broadway on July 13 at the Richard Rodgers Theatre, where tickets are already on sale.
