Currently in previews, DINNER WITH THE BOYS is a new comedy by the beloved actor and writer Dan Lauria (LOMBARDI, 'The Wonder Years' and 'Sullivan & Son') and will open May 4 Off-Broadway at the Acorn Theatre at Theater Row (410 W. 42 St.) in New York City. The Public Theater recently announced a one-week extension today for George Brant's Grounded, directed by two-time Tony Award winner Julie Taymor and featuring Academy Award winner Anne Hathaway. Grounded began previews on Tuesday, April 7 and will now run an additional week through Sunday, May 24 in the Anspacher Theater, with an official press opening on Sunday, April 26. Signature Theatre has announced a one week extension for the world premiere of The Painted Rocks at Revolver Creek, written and directed by Athol Fugard. The New York Times writes that Broadway's first revival of Pulitzer Prize and Tony Award-winning Wendy Wasserstein's The Heidi Chronicles, starring Elisabeth Moss, Jason Biggs and Bryce Pinkham, will close early on May 3, 2015.
