Broadway Unplugged, the critically acclaimed annual concert event at The Town Hall, will make history once again when, tonight, January 26th, the stars of the recent revival of SIDE SHOW, ERIN DAVIE & EMILY PADGETT, sing their famous two duets for the first time in a major concert hall without the aid of any amplification. Performing 'Unplugged,' audiences will hear these two iconic songs soar with a purity they have never heard before.

CBS has announced that Honeymoon in Vegas star Tony Danza and IT'S ONLY A PLAY's Martin Short will guest on THE LATE LATE SHOW tonight, January 26. Regis Philbin will serve as guest host for the broadcast which will also welcome Alan Alsa and Susan Sarandon.

THE LAST SHIP will play its final performance on Broadway tonight, January 24 at 8 p.m., at the Neil Simon Theatre (where it has played 29 preview performances and 105 regular performances). Prior to its Broadway debut, The Last Ship had a five-week tryout in Chicago last summer, where it played 38 performances. On December 9, 2014, Sting, who composed The Last Ship's score, joined the cast in the role of Jackie White, the foreman of the shipyard who rallies his community to build one last ship meant to sail the world. The producers of The Elephant Man are pleased to congratulate Bradley Cooper on his Academy Award nominations for Best Actor and, as a producer, Best Picture for the film American Sniper. To allow Mr. Cooper to attend the award ceremony in Los Angeles on Sunday, February 22, The Elephant Man will now play its final Broadway performance on Saturday, February 21 at 8 pm.

As BroadwayWorld reported earlier today, THE HEART OF ROBIN HOOD, which opened last week in Toronto, will extend for four additional weeks of performances in Toronto. Tickets for the additional four weeks go on sale Monday January 26. At the same time, producers also announced that plans for the Broadway run have changed.

The Public Theater presents the world premiere musical Hamilton, beginning previews tonight, January 20, in The Public's Newman Theater. Inspired by the book 'Alexander Hamilton' by Ron Chernow, with book, music, and lyrics by Lin-Manuel Miranda and directed by Thomas Kail, Hamilton runs through Sunday, April 5 with an official press opening on Tuesday, February 17.

The cast of the Tony Award-winning hit Beautiful just celebrated the show's one year anniversary. Since opening on Broadway on January 12, 2014, Beautiful has broken all box office records at the Stephen Sondheim Theatre, where it recently became the highest grossing production in the theatre's history. Leading the company is Tony winner Jessie Mueller, who has been with the show all along the way.

WICKED just welcomed new cast members to the Gershwin Theatre last month. Caroline Bowman (Kinky Boots, Eva in the Broadway revival tour of Evita) stepped into the role of Elphaba, and Kara Lindsay (original cast of Broadway's Newsies) assumed the role of Glinda, directly from playing the role on national tour. Kathy Fitzgerald returned to the Broadway company as Madame Morrible, a role she has played on Broadway and on national tour, and Matt Shingledecker (West Side Story) assumed the role of Fiyero. Two-time Tony Award Nominee Robin de Jesus (In the Heights, La Cage Aux Folles) stepped into the role of Boq.
