ON THE TWENTIETH CENTURY Cancels June Performance for Kristin Chenoweth's Tony Awards Gig

BroadwayWorld has confirmed that Roundabout Theatre Company is canceling its June 7th matinee of On the Twentieth Century to accommodate star Kristin Chenoweth's co-hosting gig with Alan Cumming for the 2015 TONY AWARDS and the cast's performance that evening. Chenoweth will also be absent from the 8 p.m. show on June 6th.
FUN HOME Breaks House Record at the Circle in the Square

Producers Fox Theatricals (Kristin Caskey, Mike Isaacson) and Barbara Whitman are pleased to announce that Fun Home, the Award-winning American musical based on Alison Bechdel's graphic novel of the same name, took in $392,450.00 at the box office Tuesday, April 28, in the wake of the show's twelve Tony nominations, making it the highest wrapping day of a musical in the history of the Circle in the Square Theatre (235 West 50th Street).

Darren Criss returns to Broadway in Hedwig and the Angry Inch, the Tony Award winning Best Musical Revival, for a limited 12-week engagement starting tonight, April 29 at the Belasco Theatre. In addition, Rebecca Naomi Jones (American Idiot, Passing Strange) joined HEDWIG in the role of Yitzhak earlier this month. BroadwayWorld has a first look at both stars onstage below!

ZORBA! will be directed by Walter Bobbie (Chicago) and choreographed by Josh Rhodes (Rodgers & Hammerstein's Cinderella) with musical direction by Rob Berman.
