The Academy Museum of Motion Pictures today announced the first round of exhibition rotations, which are scheduled for the 2022–2023 season. These rotations further the museum’s mission to advance the understanding, celebration, and preservation of cinema through dynamic and diverse exhibitions.

Lifetime ups its premium scripted content with new season greenlights of the critically-acclaimed drama series UnREAL for a fourth season and freshman drama Mary Kills People for a season two, it was announced today by Liz Gateley, EVP and Head of Programming for Lifetime.

Lifetime has greenlit the original movie, COCAINE GODMOTHER, starring Academy Award and Tony Award-winning actress Catherine Zeta-Jones and directed by Academy Award-Winning Cinematographer Guillermo Navarro.

Production is currently underway on the upcoming Lifetime Original Movie, I AM ELIZABETH SMART, the authorized film about the harrowing kidnapping of Elizabeth Smart.

Lifetime's mission to lead entertainment through female-centric storytelling continues with the greenlight of three new high-profile movies: Flint, starring Cher; Watcher in the Woods, starring Anjelica Huston; and I Am Elizabeth Smart featuring Elizabeth Smart as executive producer and on-screen narrator.

Lifetime has ordered the two-hour biopic Britney (working title), detailing the tumultuous story of pop icon Britney Spears' rise to fame, fall from grace and eventual triumphant resurrection, firmly securing her position as one of the world's greatest entertainers. Production begins this September in Vancouver for a 2017 premiere on Lifetime.
