Veteran Grand Ole Opry pianist Tim Atwood is inviting a few hundred of his closest friends and fans to an old-fashioned "dinner on the grounds" in Hendersonville, Tennessee, on Sunday, August 14. The occasion is the release of "That Old Time Religion" (i2iRecords), Atwood's second album, but first gospel project since leaving the Opry's house band in 2014, after 38 years.

?The APRA AMCOS Board of Writer and Publisher Directors have announced that legendary songwriters and musicians, Cold Chisel, are the recipients of the 2016 Ted Albert Award for Outstanding Services to Australian Music. The prestigious award will be presented to Cold Chisel at the 2016 APRA Music Awards on Tuesday 5 April at Carriageworks in Sydney.

Campbelltown Arts Centre has commissioned a significant new contemporary Indigenous theatre work, One Billion Beats examining the historical representation of Aboriginal people in Australian cinema, presented over four nights on 26 and 27 February and 4 and 5 March 2016.

Tony Award nominee Jarrod Spector will bring his acclaimed show, A Little Help from My Friends, to Feinstein's at the Nikko for two performances - today, June 25 (8 p.m.) and tomorrow, June 26 (8 p.m.).  Featuring a full band and back-up singers, Jarrod takes the audience on a joyous ride of great songs everyone knows and tells a vivid story about his time as the iconic Frankie Valli in the hit Broadway musical, Jersey Boys.
